Convenient meal kits
I'm so into these meal kits, they're so convenient! I get to try new foods I never would've tried before, and they save me tons of time and stress. Having the ingredients just show up at my door is a game-changer - no more multiple trips to the store, less walking, no impulse buys when I'm hungry. And the fact that everything is pre-portioned also helps cut down on food waste, especially for ingredients I don't use often. Plus, on those days when I'm too tired to go out or feeling hangry, these meal kits are a total lifesaver. They might cost more at first, but they save me so much time, money, and sanity in the long run. Totally worth it!
Varied Menu - not the same old thing
I love all the different kinds of food they have on the menu. They offer everything from meals you bake in the oven to broiled dishes and things you cook on the stovetop. It's always fun to try something new. They also have lots of different ethnic options that spice up meal planning. The portions are usually really good and fill me up. Sometimes my meat juices leaked during delivery, but that problem got fixed. And once in a while, when I follow the cooking instructions, my veggies end up too cooked which is a bummer. But even with these little challenges, I still think this service is a good choice for getting home-cooked meals.
Fresh ingredients, minimal packaging waste
The food was really fresh, just like they said it would be. I liked that they didn't use a bunch of extra packaging. They even had a little tray inside the box to keep all the ingredients organized, which made it super easy to stick in the fridge. One thing they could improve on is maybe having some different ingredient options listed on the recipe cards in case you can't find one of them at the store. I had to reach out to customer service while I was cooking, but the person I talked to couldn't really help me out. Still, I really thought the recipe cards were great and I plan on hanging onto them for later.
Great variety of meals
The food options are amazing, with a lot of delicious choices that are way better than other meal plans I've had before. The recipes are tasty and well put together, which makes me really eager to cook and enjoy every meal. Lately, though, I've noticed that some of the veggies in the deliveries haven't been up to par. But the customer service team was really fast to help me out and fix things. All in all, the flavors and recipes are top-notch, so this service is definitely one of my favorites.
Cooking dishes I never thought to try
I really enjoy experimenting with new recipes! They can seem a bit daunting at first, but the instructions are actually pretty simple to follow and the estimated cooking time is usually spot on. I've honestly loved every single meal I've tried from this service!
Affordable and nutritious meal kit box for family member in need.
I got this meal kit box for a family member who's dealing with money problems and health issues. It's really been a lifesaver for them. They're not only saving money, but they're also loving cooking up yummy and healthy meals they probably wouldn't have been able to afford or think of making on their own.
Complicated recipes, expensive
I'm not really big on cooking in the kitchen, so I tried out the recipes from this delivery service. They were way too complex for my taste. Not only did they take forever to make, but they also required a ton of ingredients that I never had on hand. On top of that, the kits were pretty pricey for the small amount of food they made - usually about $120 for 3 or 4 kits. Seems like a lot of money for meals that required so much work to put together.
Meal kits, easy and fun
I really enjoy being able to pick out my meals every week! It's awesome to experiment with new recipes and ingredients without having to deal with the hassle of going to the store. Sometimes the recipes are a bit challenging for me because I'm not a great cook, but everything has turned out really tasty. The app makes it super easy to plan out my meals. I haven't had any issues so far!
Weekly subscription
The only thing I did not like was the proteins. The fish sourcing is outside the US and the freeze refreeze impacts both texture and flavor. The chicken breasts are not that good for the same reason. The fruits, veg and herbs were terrific. If you are doing meat free this would be a good option.
Delicious meals, fresh ingredients
The food is always so good and fresh, and each meal has everything I need in just the right amount! I don't need much extra stuff to make the recipes, and the instructions are easy to follow. The only thing is, it seems like the cooking takes longer than they say it will - kind of annoying.
Subscription meal service review
I've been trying out the recipes from this meal subscription service and I gotta say, they are delicious and really get my creative cooking juices flowing. The variety and quality of the dishes are top-notch, way better than any other meal subscription I've signed up for. However, one thing I did notice is that there's a lot of fat in the ground meat, especially the ground beef. That might be a red flag for folks who are watching their diet and trying to stay healthy. On top of that, I had a pretty bad experience with their customer service. They don't really seem to care much and they won't own up to any mistakes with the delivery boxes unless you provide photo proof, which is a total hassle for us customers.
Long-time subscriber
I've been subscribing for about 3 years now, and I gotta say, the recipes they send always offer a nice variety. The ingredients are usually fresh, but every now and then we get some squished up produce because of the delivery. The pricing is pretty fair too, they haven't jacked up the cost much over the years. It might take a little while to adjust to the meal prepping routine and trying out new recipes, but in the end, it's totally worth it. Give it a shot for a few months!
