About Idrive

Idrive is a technology company focusing on data backup applications. Its main product, Idrive, is an online backup service that is accessible to Linux, Mac, iOS, and windows. Based in Los Angeles County, Calabasas, California Idrive was founded in the year 1995 as Pro Softnet Corporation. The initial product of Pro Softnet Corporation was referred to as IBackup. In mid-2003, it would acquire the idrive.com domain for I-drive, which was at the time a defunct company.

Products and service of Idrive

The automatic backup application is available to iOS, Mac, and Android. After it has been installed, it prompts the user to select files and folders needed to be backed up as items specified by the user. Idrive provides compressed and incremental backups so that users can only upload modified portions of a backup file, and also so that it is possible to update files in real-time.

Mixed experiences with iDrive's customer service
I have been using IDrive for the past year and I have to say, I am pretty satisfied with the service. It's definitely not perfect, but it gets the job done.

First off, the pricing is pretty reasonable. You get a lot of storage for the price and there are multiple plans to choose from depending on your needs. I opted for the personal plan, which has been more than enough for me.

One of the things I really like about IDrive is the ease of use. The interface is clean and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate and find what I'm looking for. The desktop app is also a breeze to use, allowing me to quickly and easily backup my files.

The backup process itself is quick and efficient. It can be scheduled to run automatically, which is convenient. I've had a few hiccups with the restore process, but customer service was able to help me out and get my files back.

Overall, I would say that IDrive is a solid choice for cloud storage. It may not be the most exciting service out there, but it gets the job done and that's all I really need.
