Super Colossal King Crab Legs
We often order and eat crab. I almost never post online complaints. BUT, this merits taking the time. We received our shipment of super colossal king crab legs, which was almost $800. They were still frozen upon arrival (good). We followed the instructions exactly and immediately put them in the freezer. On Christmas Eve we took them out of the freezer and thawed in the refrigerator. When we took them out of the refrigerator to reheat, they were still icy . But unfortunately they were not fresh, smelled extremely fishy (as one of our guests commented prior to the crab going in the oven). When we served them many of the legs tasted spoiled and none of them tasted good at all. We had guests from out of town and two of them had to get up from the table as they were gagging at the smell, no one finished their crab and we all stopped eating out of concern it was bad and two guests ended up vomiting, my husband was sick for over 24 hours. It was not a pleasant experience and threw so much of the uneaten crab away.
When you spend top dollar for this type of product you expect it to be quality. We submitted the information to Alaskan King Crab Co Customer Service but were told that all complaints needed to be submitted immediately and no more than 7 days after receipt. In a year where Supply chain has been a concern, we ordered early to insure we received our Christmas main course in time. Our order shipped immediately and we received our crab December 17. We ate Dec 25 and submitted the complaint Dec 26, 2022. I attempted one more message to customer service, which to this date, Jan 11, 2022 has been ignored. $800 and all this company can respond with is that you prepare your food in an FDA complaint facility and the issue must have been on our side.

Awful, late, made us sick and no response form many tries to reach customer service. Denied CC refund because it was delivered. Avoid them unless you like being sick and wasting money.
Norway Lobster Langoustines
Just received my order 12/20 of Langoustines and the package indicated that they were packed on March 2019 ! The package shows the Langoustines all dried out from being frozen so long. Expiration date is March 2021 so that only 3 months away compared to the 1 year and 9 months past in the freezer.
Their answer was that they are good and far from expiration date!

I received spoiled Alaska King Crab. Very Stinky. Just one bite made me vomit. The price was rm111. Wasted????
So sad received spoiled Alaska King Crab. Very Stinky. Bought for rm111. Kids were very dissappointed.
