Chef Josef has created a new line of herbs and spices that bring back flavors reminiscent of the fabulous dishes from his restaurants. Bring the chef right into your kitchen with Chef Josef’s Seasoning Blends, hand-mixed in small batches in Sonoma County. The company's vision is to help home cooks create delicious meals with greater ease. Josef Keller was born and raised in Switzerland. In his early teens, he made his way into the rigorous Suisse Cooking Apprenticeship program with an emphasis on French cuisine and dining room management. He worked in the fine European hotels of Zurich, Geneva, and the winter resort area of Verbier in an up-scale restaurant.

On moving to the U.S., the precocious chef amazed Philadelphia while at la Scala’s, a northern Italian restaurant, for four years, and charmed Lake Tahoe at the Swiss Lakewood Restaurant and Lodge, working both the front and the back of the house for another four years. The awarded restaurateur moved on to Santa Rosa in 1980 and opened La Province, a French continental restaurant, for a run of 12 years. Following that, he owned and managed Josef’s Restaurant & Bar at the La Rose Hotel for 17 years.

Their products and services range from seasoning stores to recipes and private labeling. Their seasoning blends include; Chef Josef’s Original Blend, BBQ Blend, Lemon Dill, Citrus Tarragon while they have recipes for roasted turkey with chestnut stuffing, sole piccata, garlic herb croutons.

For customers that would like to have a custom label on their holiday gift, Chef Josef has designed a label on which they can print “Happy Holidays' ' wreaths for customers with either their business logo or company name and location. This Holiday Gift Package contains Chefjosef's six award-winning seasoning blends, which received tremendous accolades!

I recently tried Chef Josef's Natural Spices, Herbs, and Seasonings and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. The ingredients all seemed fresh and of high quality, which greatly enhanced the flavor of my dishes compared to some other spice blends I've tried in the past. One thing that stood out to me was that Chef Josef's seasonings are all made with natural, gluten-free ingredients as well as Himalayan Sea Salt.
