My wife's family have been farming cattle in the midwest for the past 50 years. Needless to say, over the past two decades of marriage I've had my share of steaks. Also being close to Texas we're accustomed to great cuts and selection. Prime Angus is the favorite at our house.
We saw a review on YouTube of someone grilling up some beef that looked insane, and did some research into where they got it. Looks like Holy Grail is the mail order steak company that provided this richly marbled steak, so we ordered up a box.
Now, $300+ for meat is something I am going to be damn selective about. I went low and slow cooking up the first ribeye we pulled from the box.
Hands down, best steak I've ever grilled up at the house. No question. We're going to splurge and get a box for Thanksgiving and see what the other carnivores in the family think of my new treasure chest of protein.
