Mediocre experience with Silver Cuisine by bistroMD
I recently tried out Silver Cuisine by bistroMD and overall, I was pretty satisfied with the experience. The food arrived on time and was still hot when it got to me. There was a good selection of meals to choose from and everything was clearly labeled with ingredients and allergens, which I appreciated.
The meals themselves were tasty and portion sizes were generous. I also liked that they offered both low sodium and low carb options. The only downside was that some of the meals were a little too salty for my taste, but that's just a personal preference.
One thing I will note is that Silver Cuisine doesn't seem to have any physical stores. All orders are placed online and delivered to your doorstep. This was convenient for me, but I can see how it might not be ideal for everyone.
Overall, I would say that Silver Cuisine by bistroMD is a good option for people who want convenient, healthy meals delivered to their home. The food is tasty and there's a good variety to choose from. The only downside is the lack of physical stores, but for me, the convenience of home delivery made up for it.Variety of Meals
The food options from this service are amazing! They've really helped me stick to the program. I love how they put so much effort into making each meal unique and delicious with a variety of flavors and ingredients. You can tell a talented chef is making these dishes because they're so full of delicious flavors.
Latest order issue correction
I was so close to giving up on this service after a big mistake on my last order. But Todd really came through with his persistence and awesome follow-up. I might actually hang around for a bit longer now.
First and Second Order
My experience with Silver Cuisine has been kind of up and down. The first time I ordered, I really liked the food - it was tasty and made me happy. But the second time around was a letdown. The meat was tough and tasteless, and the sides weren't very good either. I also didn't get the rewards points I was supposed to from their program. Plus, not being able to track my delivery was a big downside for me.
Disappointing recent delivery
I've been using this service for a couple of years now and, for the most part, I've been happy with the meals. But my last order was a huge letdown. The quality was just awful, so bad that my husband had to toss everything. Can you believe he even found plastic in one of the dishes? That's just not okay. I reached out to customer service to share my concerns, but all I got back was a generic reply that didn't even touch on the issues I raised. It's pretty obvious they didn't even bother reading my email properly since they were asking for info that I had already said I didn't have. Their lack of attention to detail and lack of responsiveness has led us to stop using this service altogether.
Meal selections
The food choices are so good! I've been coming here for more than a year now. Can't complain about the food at all. Although, sometimes the delivery takes forever and there's no explanation for the delays. But all in all, I'm pretty satisfied with the service and the variety of food available.
Low sodium meal delivery
I think the idea behind Silver Cuisine is really good - they aim to offer low-sodium meals for people trying to eat healthy. But honestly, my experience with their food wasn't great. Their customer service was awesome, but the meals themselves were kind of a letdown. I liked about half of what I tried, but the other half was pretty much inedible. It was tough because I never knew what to expect with each new order. And as someone who needs low-sodium options, I was bummed by how bland the meals were. Plus, not having clear cooking instructions made it even harder - some dishes were still frozen in the middle even after I followed the suggested heating times.
