I recently bought a bunch of books from Blurb, some personalized for clients and others for the general public. Let me tell ya, every book I've gotten has been top-notch quality. The pictures and words are always on point, and the overall craftsmanship is excellent. But man, I've been having some serious problems with the tools glitching out on Book Smart, and it's been really frustrating. I've reached out for help, and the customer service folks have been quick to respond and super helpful, but unfortunately, the glitches just haven't been fixed. When I'm editing, the pages like to jump around on their own, and sometimes whole sections of text disappear, which is a huge headache and waste of time. It's especially rough because I've got a few books I'm working on at the same time. I love being able to create my books all by myself through Blurb, but these ongoing tool glitches are a major bump in the road.
Personalized photo book
I've been using the photo book creation service for a long time, and I just love it. I've been customizing my books for over ten years now, and they always turn out beautifully. The quality is amazing, and they always come right on time.
There was one time where the book didn't print right, but I reached out to customer service and they sent me a new one without any issues. They were really helpful and made everything super easy.
I do wish they had a tool to show how dark photos will look when they're printed. Sometimes, photos that are already dark end up looking even darker in the final book. It would be great to have a tool that could give a better idea of how they'll look in print, since it's tough to adjust brightness and get it just right. This would be really helpful for me, since I spend about $200 on each book and I want them to turn out perfect.Professional photographer

I ordered my book last Friday and by the next week, all 12 copies had arrived at their destinations. I didn't even choose standard shipping, but the delivery was crazy fast! I was so surprised at how quickly my order was processed and shipped. It was unbelievable!

Annual photography book
I really enjoy using Blurb to create my yearly photo book. It's super easy to use, and I always have fun designing the cover and pages. I've been a Blurb user for like 10 years now, which feels like forever to me! The print quality has been great, but I decided to try out the fancy ProPhoto Pearl paper to see if it would make my photos look even better. It was a bit expensive to order a whole book just for testing, but it was totally worth it because the paper made my photos look amazing! My only suggestion would be for Blurb to offer a sample swatch set so people can see how each paper works with their photos. I'd be more than willing to pay a small fee for the swatches instead of splurging on a whole book.
Awesome experience
Creating my book was a breeze, much better than dealing with other complicated programs. I decided to go easy on my wallet and didn't splurge on the super pricey paper, so I can't really comment on that. But my book came out just the way I envisioned it. I'm already thinking about upgrading to the cool lay-flat option and high-quality paper for the next one. The customer service was top-notch - they were so friendly and helpful. I'm definitely planning on using them again and spreading the word to my friends. Thumbs up!
Custom book order

I just bought a picture journal from this company for my partner as a wedding gift. I'm a first-time customer, so I contacted customer service for help on how to put the journal together. I have to say, they were super helpful and supportive. Putting the journal together was a little tough for me because I'm not used to doing stuff like that, but with their guidance, I got it done. The final product turned out even better than I expected, and my partner absolutely loved the gift.

I was so pumped when I got my photos published in a magazine for the first time, I decided to order a hard proof to show off my work. And let me tell ya, the quality was top-notch, I was absolutely blown away. Not to mention, the customer service was on point too - quick responses and they were great at problem-solving. I would totally recommend this printing service to anyone.
Picture book printing
The process of customizing my book was easy and the pictures came out great. But, the biggest problem for me was that there are dents on almost every page. It looks like the book may have been mishandled during assembly. I was also disappointed to see that the title was only on the dust cover and not on the actual book itself. That issue isn't as big of a deal compared to all the dents and bends on most of the pages.
Books of poetry
So I picked up these two poetry books from different places and it was really interesting to check them out. One of them, the one from Blurb, came in this sturdy envelope and was in mint condition when it arrived. The other one came in a box surrounded by a bunch of inflated plastic packaging, which was a bit of a hassle because I had to clean it up. But the books themselves were both the same size and had these glossy covers, so that was pretty cool.
Printed book from an online service
I just bought a book online and I was really happy with how it turned out. It arrived at my door in just a week, way faster than I thought it would. The quality was even better than I hoped for, bringing back memories of some great trips. The website was easy to use, which was a relief because I'm not great with technology. Reproduction book of Bill Ray Hells Angels of San Berdoo
The reproduction book by Bill Ray on the Hells Angels of San Berdoo is really great. I went with the printed cover version and was super impressed with the quality of materials they used. Bill Ray's photos in the book really capture the essence of the Hells Angels. It's a awesome way to have a book that's been out of print for a while at a good price, and I'm thrilled with my purchase.
Recent book order
I got this amazing new book from a place and I'm obsessed with it! It's all about my travels and filled with pictures and stories.
