Hellebore bulbs
Breck's will take forever to ship, and in the year 2022 are unable to send a bill through email. Placed an order for hellebores based through a paper order form sent to me in a Breck's catalog. The order was received by Breck's on 1/14/21 with estimated ship date of 5/14/21. Received email on 5/20/21 informing me that shipping date was delayed until 10/21/21. Order finally shipped on 9/22/21. Received email correspondence regarding order status but it never indicated any outstanding balance on the account. Breck's claims they sent bill through mail, which I never received as I'd moved away from the address in question by the time they sent it, and they never many any attempt to send any statement electronically. Instead of ever trying to call or email, they passed the account balance on to a debt collector. Will not be spending another cent with Breck's. They're at best misleading - and at worst it's a total scam that will show up long after promised, with all sorts of nasty surprised attached.

I didn’t know my order was coming from a different country,i order them in12/21 received them in in of April 22 keep my money for four months they set in Wisconsin for a month before shipping to me only after I complained wouldn’t order from Becks Again!
Plants, bulbs and bareroot
Number one, the catalog is misleading. Some listings indicate bulbs, plants or bareroot. But what you get is mostly bulbs or pathetic roots. Very misleading. Second, shipping seemed long. And third, not one single one came up. With the much much much higher prices for bulbs i have ever come across. i find myself disappointed with the quality, quanity and limited item availability. The bareroots were such poor specimens. You culd barely tell one end from another. Would not recommend these products

Terrible plants! Not one of the products I ordered was in decent shape. I am an avid gardener with a greenhouse and usually grow my own plants from seeds, cuttings, bulbs, rhizomes, so, I thought I would treat myself this year to some new plants I can't get at nurseries. Of the 21 plants I ordered, 10 of them grew. The rest were in such poor shape that they never sprouted, let alone grew. Within 6 weeks of planting the roots had mostly disintegrated, as there was barely any to start with! As I said, I have a green thumb. Two of them weren't even what I ordered: a specialty begonia turned into something I can pick up 6 for $4 at my local nursery already growing! And, one was ragweed, not yarrow! I am refused a refund. They gave me a store credit for $150.00, but I don't trust they will provide healthier plants and I certainly did not get the ones I wanted, as they are all sold out of them! I will never spend money at Breck's again!
Perennials
I bought BOGO and they are worthless. The roots were the size of quarters. I have watered them after planted in ground and they have disappeared. I don’t have high hopes that I see anything. I will be shopping elsewhere were the nursery has sent me healthy, live and beautiful plants for the same price.
Peaches and cream hollyhock
Placed order and was charged via PayPal. Breck's cannot find my order and " does not know where it went" so they don't know if they will refund the card or not even though they did not ship the order out. Had to open dispute with paypal and the went on bluestone perennials and ordered there with no issues.. Sent screenshots and transactions i.d. to Breck:s and they still did nothing and their customer service is bad.
