Great Ancestry Insight with Living DNA
I am a client of Living DNA and I have had a great experience with the company. The process of ordering a DNA test kit was easy and straightforward. The kit arrived in the mail in a timely manner and the instructions for providing a DNA sample were clear and simple to follow.
After sending in my sample, I received regular updates on the status of my results. And when they were ready, I was able to access my results online. The report was comprehensive and provided a lot of information about my ancestry and ethnicity. I was particularly impressed with the level of detail provided, including information about specific regions and even specific villages within those regions.
I also appreciated the interactive features of the website, such as the ability to connect with relatives who have also taken the test. This has been a great way to learn more about my family history and discover new relatives.

I was really happy with how quickly I got my results back, especially when I compared it to my husband's experience with a different company. But, I did run into a few technical issues when my mother's haplogroup showed up as a man's name, which was pretty annoying. Luckily, Clare from customer service was super helpful and really worked hard to fix the problem. She even gave me a Viking upgrade as a nice gesture, which I thought was really cool. The results themselves looked amazing and gave me a lot of interesting information. The only thing that bugged me was that they didn't have a tree builder feature, which I think would have made the whole experience even better.

The service at the DNA testing company was pretty good overall. The staff was friendly and the customer service was efficient. But, I gotta say, I was kinda let down by the accuracy of the DNA matching. The estimates they gave were sorta on point, but the matches I got didn't really match up with what I know about my ancestry. Like, I got matched with folks from Britain and Western Europe, even though I don't have any ancestors from there. It's making me wonder if the matching algorithm they use is really reliable. It would definitely be helpful if they could work on improving this part of their service to give customers more accurate results.
