1000 hot stamped jewelry boxes and 200 plain gift boxes

Only gave 2 stars because It wouldn’t let me select 1 - I tried to give the company a chance to redeem themselves before leaving a review, but they did not even try. I reached out for hot stamped jewelry box quotes and chose this company because of the prices. I was quoted $727 for 1000 branded jewelry boxes and 200 plain gift boxes. and was charged $731. I figured the additional few dollars was shipping or a card fee. 3 weeks later, I get a call because they’re trying to charge my card another $250 without my consent. Apparently they split my order into two orders and only charged half of the “second order.” There were $160 of shipping fees that were not quoted ($80 for the first 1000 boxes and another $80 for 200 boxes - not based on weight even though they tell you it is). Then there was $40 of “setup fees” which were also not mentioned. There are other fees they are saying I still owe but it’s not adding up at all. This is above and beyond the price of the boxes, the $75 fee to make my logo plate, and the $200 minimum fee to actually stamp the boxes. This whole process has seemed extremely shady. Why was my card charged without my consent, why was I not quoted all the extra fees, and why would they only charge a portion of one of the orders upfront? I have asked if I can return the plain boxes that I never would have ordered if I had known they would cost $80 to ship. I was told I could pay $80 to ship them back. Ridiculous!! I am still waiting on my logo jewelry boxes, which have been paid for in full. Of course the sales reps are available day or night when they’re trying to get your sale, but then they take days to respond when you have an issue and don’t answer any of your very legitimate questions. This company is a scam and I would not recommend. I would consider changing my review if S Walter agreed to forego the other charges that were NOT quoted and send me my boxes. But I doubt they will.
