I have made two orders. The ordering process was easy the pricing was great. After my first order I read reviews and thought I made a mistake.
I received my orders both times with no issues and the books were in good shape. Some were really excellent shape. Only one had a torn corner and pages are yellowing a bit. I don’t remember what the condition was listed as. Also, not sure how old the books is. It could be considered good condition. Still, I think most of them were $3.00 so it’s fine.
I can’t say how service is if you have an issue because I haven’t had any.
I will definitely buy again.
I also haven’t sold any books back so not sure about that process either.Books
I was looking for several books and I didn’t want to pay full price for them and I certainly do not believe in Kindles or audio books. I search the Internet and found second sale, I ordered two books and got one free. The books came in really quickly and were in better shape than I expected, they actually look barely used and at four dollars and five dollars each you cannot beat the prices for what you get. I have recommended all of my friends to second sale for their next book purchase. I recommend everyone who still love the feel of a real book; I haven’t had any bad experiences so far in fact I just ordered a new book today.

I had a very positive experience with SecondSale. Within an hour of ordering the book I received a confirmation of my order. Less than an hour after that I received the scheduled shipping date. I received my book 5 business days later.
I ordered a new book and it is a new book. Pristine condition.

I have ordered many books on several occasions from SecondSale and have never been disappointed. Only once a book I ordered was not in the best of shape, but that was my fault. When you order, there is a spot where you can choose what the condition of the book you are ordering. I would not hesitate ordering from them again. They are now my go to for used paperbacks.

I purchased the above book and received an email staing it was shipped.. I kept checking on the status and it seemed to be stuck at a post office. I finally reached out and asked where the book was, I was told the.order had been cancelled because they couldn't find that particular book.. Now I'm confused because it was supposedly shipped. I was told that I probably got an email saying the order was cancelled, but I did not. I checked my cc statement, and no refund was forthcoming, but I will continue tomonitor. I will not be buying books from this site in the future.
Book order
Very poor customer service. Sent emails and left phone messages regarding an order, all were ignored so an order I was trying to change went through.
4 Hardcover & 3 paperback books
I have made 3 separate purchases from SecondSale. They have a large selection of book categories. The condition of the books were exactly as advertised. The prices were great, the delivery was timely each and every time. I would definitely recommend this site and I definitely plan on ordering more books in the future.

i’ve ordered there about five times this year, two of the 20 books i’ve ordered weren’t in good condition, but it’s a used book website so there’s always gonna be a few bad ones????♀️

Easy enough to order. Paid for EXPEDITED shipping. Item not received. Had to purchase book from another source. Customer service was horrendous.
Best Short Stories of 2010
I purchased this book recently. The book arrived with two of the short stories torn from the binding. The final page of another short story was torn off. The book is useless to me. I purchased it for an online discussion group. It’s not the money. The book was cheap. I’m very disappointed in this seller and the original owner.
2 books or 1 book?
I am supposed to receive the book SecondSale shipped to me tonight. It did go out the same day I ordered which was a week ago. So that's not horrible. BUT, there were actually 2 books in my cart for a total of around $10. When I put in my payment info and it confirmed, only 1 of the books was listed and the price was indeed for only 1 book...around $5. What happened to the other one? I called, then sent an email immediately and have gotten no response, and likely will not based on the other reviews. I also have trouble getting their website to pop up when I try to go to it, either from my order email or just typing it in! Makes me wonder.
Scrabble dictionary
It has been a couple of weeks and according to their tracking it is still far, far away. I would not use this site again because of how very long it takes. I am assuming that the book will eventually arrive.

Received Seasons 2, 6 & 4 (Not sure if 5 was ordered through your company. Sent a message on ebay. Need to receive Season 3, not 2. How do we rectify this, ASAP?

I may be jumping the gun here, but I would not use this company again. My shipment has yet to arrive, and it has been 6 business days. To anyone thinking that's not that long, I say it's 2021. What company takes this long to ship a book to New York City?
All of their customer service is over email. I don't love that.

I purchased a book with cards based on the description and the book came the cards did not. I was told "I am afraid used books are not guaranteed to have supplemental items such as access codes, CDs, DVD etc... In order to guarantee you get supplemental items you have to buy the book new."
Maddening even though in the description it says there are 72 cards. Will not use this site again. I have moved to ThriftBooks they have great customer service!Negroes and the Gun The Black Tradition of Arms
Highly disappointed in my purchase. (On eBay you have to wait 7 days to leave a review) but hopefully, this will help others. I took pictures of the cover of the book. The entire word Negroes was covered in a black magic marker and the bottom corner of the book was damaged so that the cover is peeling apart. I took pictures. Very disturbing given the current climate of this society. I would not have minded the cover but that was not stated as a problem in the description of the book. Wish I had read reviews of this so-called company before ordering. I will definitely NOT be ordering anything from them again.
The Tales of Cupid and Psyche
It took a little long to get here, but it was in fairly good condition. A little bit of writing, but I got it for around $5. Can't complain much.
