Mixed Feelings on Slumberkins

My Awesome Slumberkin
My Amazing Slumberkin is awesome! I got this adorable stuffed animal along with a really cute book. The book is really interesting because it talks about families changing and how to handle it. I love that it has lots of positive messages.
I had to wait a little while for my order to arrive, but they warned me it might take longer than usual. Once it was shipped, I received a tracking number and everything arrived in perfect condition.

I grabbed the XL Otter and Hero Camp as Christmas presents for my 4-year-old and 1-year-old nephews. Seemed like good picks since we live far from each other. The deals during the holidays were so good that I got both items for way less than usual. Was a bit nervous at first because of some bad reviews, but my order made it to my sister's place in no time and in perfect shape. Can't say much about the products themselves yet, but my overall experience with Slumberkins was awesome.
Christmas presents
I ordered 2 Christmas presents from this place and was so excited because they were supposed to be the perfect gifts, but they never showed up! I checked my email to see where my package was and it said it was delivered, but I never got it! I called FedEx and USPS, but no one could figure it out. I even tried reaching out to the company a bunch of times, but they never got back to me. Now I'm broke and have no gifts for Christmas. So bummed.
Multiple items order
I recently bought a bunch of stuff on a specific day but they didn't actually get sent out until a couple weeks later, so they ended up getting to me after when I needed them. I was pretty bummed out and annoyed because I was really counting on getting them in time for something special. When I asked about what was up with the delay, they just said it was the postal service's fault. I get that it's a crazy time with the holidays and the pandemic, but I still think it's on them to make sure things get to us customers on time.
Daughter's snuggler
I finally got my daughter's snuggler after waiting forever! When I opened it, I was really disappointed. It was so small and not what I expected at all. The pictures on the website made it look way bigger. I could've just bought a regular stuffed animal if I knew it was going to be this tiny. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
Sleep aid plush toy
I just bought a snuggly toy to help my kiddo sleep better and conquer their fear of the dark. But guess what? The dang thing never showed up, even though I paid for it! I tried contacting customer service for some help, but they seriously took forever to get back to me. And when they finally did, they straight up refused to give me a refund or send me a replacement. As a mom juggling a busy schedule of work and taking care of my child, I'm super disappointed by their lack of care and decency. It's just not right for a company that's all about kids and families to scam folks like me who are just trying to make it work.
