    White Glove Service

    I ordered White Glove service, but I was really surprised to find out it didn't include assembly or taking away the box. Customer service was not much help and I ended up having to pay for shipping to send the item back. The table is nice, so that's why I'm giving it 2 stars.

    Large white table purchase

    I got this big ol' white table from a website back in October. I was pumped for it to arrive after waiting a whole 14 weeks. But when it finally showed up, it was all messed up. The dudes dropping it off didn't even speak English, so it was a struggle to figure out what to do. I reached out to the company, but they basically said too bad and wanted me to cancel my order. No chance! I definitely wouldn't recommend buying from there.

    Blue tooth radio purchase

    I recently bought a Bluetooth radio from this company, but I ended up wanting the Bluetooth version instead. The return process was a hassle since I had to cover the return shipping for the exchange, and they took out the cost of the free shipping from my refund, even though it was just an exchange. They should have made it clear on the site the difference between the versions to avoid this mix-up. The customer service department was not very helpful or friendly, even the automated options on the phone. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this company and I wish I had checked the reviews before buying.

    Here is the email I just sent to 2Modern's customer service department. This was in response to an email I received from them demanding a tracking number for the return within 5 days or they would refuse the return.

    1. I have never been asked to provide tracking information on a return in 10+ years of frequent online shopping, much less with the threatening and aggressive tone of the email I received from you on June 17, attached below.

    2. The vast majority of online retailers in 2022 offer free shipping and returns. It cost me over $60 to return these items to you. I ordered two colors of the same product so that I could see which color worked best in my space, and kept the color that worked, which is a common practice. I could understand you charging for return shipping of furniture or some other bulky item, but these were bath mats.

    3. The color I ended up returning was listed on your website as the same color, but on receipt they were absolutely not. One was solid grey and the other was heavily heathered, so I would have returned them anyway, as they are intended for the same bathroom.

    4. For the above listed reasons I would not order from your site again.

    I would give this company zero stars if I could. DO NOT BUY from them. I purchased an table and 6 chairs, spending over $4,0000 on them. I received them and loved the way they looked, I put them on my completely covered balcony and less than one week later one of the chairs had a stain on it. I contacted their customer service and was given the cleaning instructions and the stain did not go away, I followed up and said that I would like to return the chairs since I was nervous that the chairs would all be stained if this happened in less than a week. Sherri, in customer service said that since I had them on the balcony they were not actually outdoor chairs, to which I said they should not stain that easily, but that I wanted to return the other 5, Sherri then said that since I did not have the original boxes I could not return them- mind you- they advertise that they offer white glove service which includes assembling your purchase and removing the boxes! I have no recourse from them! I have NEVER worked with a company like this! Do not use them there are many other businesses that stand by their products- this is not one of them!!!
