Firearm cleaning supplies
Brownells is a really good company with a bunch of stuff for people who like firearms. I bought some cleaning supplies from them and they were really good quality. Their prices might be a bit high, but I think it's worth it because they have a lot of stuff and it's reliable. The stuff I got was always really nice, and they have some special tools that you can't find anywhere else.
One thing that bothers me is that they don't tell you when your order has shipped. It would be nice to get an email or something when it's on its way. Also, when you backorder something, they don't tell you when it will ship, which can be annoying.
But overall, their customer service is really good and they know their stuff. The one time I had to return something, it was easy and not a hassle. I like that they care about giving good products and helping their customers out.Shooting Line
Prior to placing an order from Brownells, I called via phone, used chat, and emailed. All three interactions were commendable. Customer service via phone assisted me in the merchandise I was ordering. Further questions were addressed via chat. Actually, I asked to be notified when a certain item arrived. Brownells kept their word and notified me the product was in. Not any other notified me and I sent out an abundance of notifications to numerous retailers in the same setting. I did place an order for the item and found Brownells to be very courteous, efficient, and trustworthy. All emails sent to me via Brownells were as promised, inclusive of the ship date with order number. Not any can ask for better service. Thank you very much Brownells and we hope the best for Brownells, its staff and personnel; now and in the future.

My time with Brownell's was like a crazy rollercoaster of feelings. Their website was super simple to use, and I scored a fantastic deal on what I wanted. But then things took a turn for the strange. I placed my order, got the confirmation email, and all seemed well. But then it got a bit Twilight Zone when the order status said it was shipped, but no tracking number was given. And to top it off, my credit card had a charge reversal from Brownell's, which just left me puzzled and confused.
Recent purchase
I recently bought something on a Friday night and I gotta say, I was blown away by how fast my order was processed and delivered. They gave me a tracking number on Tuesday, shipped it out on Wednesday, and it was in Seattle by Saturday. I was so happy to get my stuff as quickly as I did, especially since I had seen some bad reviews about the shipping times. Everything I got was in perfect shape and packed really well, which shows they take care of their orders.
Pistol order
I received my pistol order pretty quickly and it was in great condition. The customer service was awesome, they were super polite and helpful. The only downside was I didn't get an email with my order number until Monday, even though I placed my order over the weekend.
Firearm accessories and supplies
I bought some gun stuff from Brownells, and let me tell you, their products are top-notch. But, man, ordering from their website was a pain in the butt. It looks old and is a pain to get around. I really hope they spruce it up soon to make it easier for folks like me.

I was told my order did not go through, but they did charge my credit card. Spoke with 5 people, and chatted with two others throughout the day. Spent over 3 hours on "hold" as their callback system doesn't work. Finally was told that the order was found and processed only to realize that they have now charged me twice! This is absolutely the worst company I have ever tried to deal with! Big scale fraud. Do not do business with this company!
Accessories
Ordered merchandise and paid extra for rush shipping. Brownells used a questionable delivery company, Spee-Dee, who (according to them) lost the package in transit. I've had two chat conversations and three customer service calls with Brownells. There have been many referrals to other departments and long hold times. No resolution. Credit card was charged. No merchandise.
