Young and the Restless ceramic coffee mug which arrived broken
Ordered Young and the Restless ceramic coffee mug for my wife's birthday. Mug arrived broken, handle was rattling around the bottom of the box. That the mug was broken was unsurprising as it was shipped in a terribly flimsy (non-substantial) box inside a non-bubbled paper mailing envelope; absolutely no shock protection whatsoever.
Notified CBS Store. They responded with a 'things happen' kind of response and then proceeded to request that I take photos to "...be able to determine what our best next steps may be". Translation: We don't believe you, prove it to us. I took the requested photos and replied back, "Apparently CBS Store does not believe their customers as evidenced by your instructing me to send photos. Here they are attached. As to "Once we receive this photo we will then be able to determine what our best next steps may be", let me tell CBS Store what the next steps will be: Either send me a new mug by expedited mail or refund my PayPal account immediately."

They responded with no apologies, informing me the mug was now out of stock and they would refund me.

Unsurprising CS considering the media company... As with the CBS media Mother Ship of Fake News, the CBS Store is fake customer-centric service; if there is a problem you no longer are an asset, only a hindrance.
