Completely wonderful shopping experience with District5Boutique. I initially purchased a special order dress and as much as I loved the style and feel of the dress... unfortunately, I didn't feel like I was able to pull off the look, so I had to return. Customer service was friendly, helpful, and I honestly found the entire return process to be pretty straightforward and simple. Just as stated on the site, I received store credit for my purchase which I was then able to use towards my new purchase- a beautiful gown that fit my body just right and made me feel amazing. I am so happy with my purchase and cant wait to shop here again!
Evening Dress
Great Purchase! Impeccable service! I was interested in buying a dress but had a few questions so I contacted the store and they answered me immediately- great customer service! I decided to order the dress and as they said, the dress arrived on the scheduled date. I was relieved to see that the dress is exactly as it was presented on the website, the fabric is elegant and it fits my body so beautifully- I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

I ordered and was charged for a dress FOUR months ago. Still hasn’t been sent to me. Customer service answers 1 out of 4 emails weeks apart only apologizing but still no delivery date. Will not give me my money back cause it is company policy and I am afraid to get the store credit to go to this frustrated experience again.
Evening gown
This is a scam company. A trap. Dont purchase anything from them. I purchased an evening gown 4 months ago for $7000 and they never shipped it to me and when I complained and request to cancel my order, they said they can not cancel it. They said according to our return policy nothing is returnable. I spent 7000 and have no dress and cant get my money back. A big scam.

I ordered a gown for my daughter's wedding and let me tell you, it was a total nightmare! They made me pay for the dress upfront, but then left me hanging with no idea when it would actually arrive. I tried reaching out via phone and email multiple times to get an update, but got no response at all. It was beyond frustrating and really made me question if this company was even legit.
BE VERY CAUTIOUS THERE A SCAM
DO NOT waste your time with them. They lie, ignore your calls, messages and don’t refund you your money. I’m fighting to get my money back that I paid with a debit card of over $2200.00. It’s been over 4 weeks already and still no refund. Save yourself the pain frustration and headache from them. They canceled my order 2 days before my daughters wedding while I was checking in with them for 3 continuous and constant months for this not to happen. Hundreds of messages were sent but my gut kept telling me this would happen and sure enough it did. They literally left me stuck and didn’t even offer any options or try to smooth things out. I’m seriously telling you DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. BE VERY CAUTIOUS AND AWARE. I’ve never left a negative review before in my life but I have to let the public know how this company is. This company is sooo unprofessional and a true SCAM. Please do your research I should have followed my gut and the other reviews I seen about this place. Stay far far far away from these people. Please share this. I have proof of all messages myself, my husband and daughter have sent them. I hope no one else has this experience especially when it’s for a very special moment of your first child getting married. It ruins the whole vibe of everything. My husband had his suit customized to my dress and my younger daughter had a customized dress matching my dress as well. I had to go find another dress in 2 days for me. Be wry cautious, aware and best of luck on your searches!

District5 has owed me a several thousand dollar refund for 6 months. They keep stringing me along and have yet to send the refund. They acknowledge that they received the returned dresses and claim their accounts department is working on it. DO NOT SHOP HERE
Dresses
I love the clothes on District 5. They have some of the most fashion forward clothes on the internet. But order communication is extremely poor. I ordered a dress in May 2023. It was a preorder so I understood District 5 could not commit to a delivery date, but 5 months later I still have no status on the order. I am nor asking for a committed date but after 5 months a general time frame should be available. I ordered a 2nd -dress (not a pre-order) at the beginning of August and 1 month later the status is Awaiting Confirmation. Given the cost of these outfits District 5 should minimally provide a monthly order update. I am planning a long trip in January 2024. If these orders will not be filled, I need to know and shop alternatives ASAP.

I made a huge mistake when i decided to order my dress almost 1 year ago. The dress was shipped about 3 months later and it was horrible! I paid almost $3,000 for the dress that was made in someone garage! it was ..., had a very bad smell and it was all covered with hair... I returned dress same day as I received it. The company refused to refund me based on the policy. And there it was started... I ordered another dress, it was never confirmed or processed, than I placed another order, same result with some very vogue excuse: the designer can not confirm the order and not responding. Up until now, they still have my money and there is nothing that can do as I dont really want to order anything that needed to be placed in 4-5 months, and whatever they have in stock - its all returned dresses, including the one that I ordered and returned. Stay away from this company. You will never get anything but terrible experience and you will just loose your money.
Gown
I ordered a dress for my mother-in-law from them not only did they send the gown with a damaged zipper I contact them, and they had me send a video of the damages, and after approving my request to return they received the gown and they received it on May 31 it is now July 29 and they have yet to refund the gown. I have contacted them several times and every single time they say their accounting department is processing the refund or some other excuse. So beware before ordering a gown from them and have to return. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company. Im posting this review for future customers so they know that they need to be careful with this type of company who does not issue refunds.
Dress
I bought a dress from them and the zipper was defective so I had it changed. I was given a coupon for 20% off my next purchase which had no expiration date. About 2 months later, I bought another dress and my code did not work. I told customer service and they refused to honor the code despite there was no expiration date. I asked for them to send me where in their written policies provided to customers that their codes expire. Of course I was sent nothing. I also realized they have a 15% restocking fee for returns which is ridiculous as stores like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, the Outnet and Bergdorf do not do that. They refused to waive the restock fee for me when I had to return the new dress because it did not fit right. This place has zero customer service and they will not honor coupon codes they provide you.

I called all these numbers and none of them is working and no one answer the phone. They dont have any live representative. I dont know even they operate from US ?
