Space MMO game
This game is seriously the best game ever made for us players, not just to line the company's pockets! The only downside is that it requires a ton of focus because of how complex it is. With 7500 systems controlled by NPCs, pirates, or other players, things really heat up as you venture further in. The community is awesome, with players always being super nice and helpful. Leveling up in real-time using skill books can take forever, whether it's hours, days, or even months. The game is technically free, but if you want access to higher skill books, you'll need Omega status, which requires a small monthly fee. It's not a scam, the company CCP is legit. I've been playing since 2008 and I've never been upset at the game, just at myself for messing up. The player support is fantastic, especially during rough times. It's a bit tough to get started, but the tutorials are a must for everyone. The game offers endless possibilities, and even though it's 18 years old, the graphics still hold up. Player Katia Sae even has her own in-game monument for exploring every system. Join through another player to get a leg up with extra skill points. Remember, in this game, anything goes as long as it's not cheating. Have a blast and make sure to fly safe!
Long-term player of EVE Online
I've been playing EVE Online for a good 16 years now, and let me tell you, it's a real work of art. Sure, it can be a bit overwhelming when you first jump in, but I strongly suggest joining a corporation and getting to know people in the game. It really helps you figure things out and makes the whole experience a lot more fun. EVE Online is hands down the most complex and visually stunning space game out there. Whether you're into PVP or prefer more laid-back activities like mining or trading, there's something for everyone in EVE Online. Personally, I like to mix it up depending on how I'm feeling and how much time I have. All in all, EVE Online has given me countless hours of entertainment and challenges throughout the years, keeping me hooked and coming back for more.
MMOPG with combat anomalies, wormholes, and exploration
This MMORPG is seriously one of the best I've played in a long time. There's so much to do, like starting wars, being a pirate, and exploring the huge universe. I really love the combat anomalies and wormholes, it's a perfect mix of adventure and intense battles. The graphics are amazing and they surprisingly run super smoothly on my old computer. The only downside for me is the lack of good Linux support. The Linux client is available, but it's kind of buggy and unstable. I end up having to switch to a Windows PC to play, which is a bummer. It would be awesome if they could improve the Linux support so I could have a seamless gaming experience on my main PC.
Game interface overhaul
The recent update to the game interface was really disappointing for a lot of us players, me included. Finally got the hang of how everything worked and felt like a pro at finding my way around the game, then they go and change everything up. Had me all disoriented trying to figure out where everything was. Super frustrating and confusing, I just couldn't wrap my head around why they'd do such a drastic change without thinking about how it would affect us players. It's no surprise that games like this have a hard time keeping people interested when they make such big changes without really thinking them through.
Online space game
This game is terrible. The gameplay is really bad, the tutorials don't even help, and you're constantly grinding. It's like a full-time job just trying to figure out how to finish missions. Don't waste your time on this, it's a disaster.
Subscription scam
I had this really annoying thing happen with my game subscription. Even though I said no to automatic payments, they kept charging me each month without asking. The customer service folks were no help at all and didn't fix the problem quickly. It was pretty disappointing to see them not taking responsibility and acting unprofessional.
Subscription to an online space exploration game
As someone who loves playing games online, I gotta tell you, this space exploration game is top-notch. It sucks me in and keeps me busy for hours with all the challenges. What's cool about it is you can use the virtual money you earn in the game to pay for your subscription, adding a whole other level of fun. It might seem overwhelming at the start, but once you figure it out, the sky's the limit. I'd say it's a must-try for anyone searching for their next gaming obsession!
EVE Online gameplay experience
As a newcomer to EVE Online, I was a bit worried at first because of all the talk about the game taking up a lot of time. But I soon realized that you can have fun playing casually without feeling like you need to dedicate your entire life to it. The game is easy to get into and gives you a great experience right off the bat. What really impressed me was the amazing customer service from EVE. They were super nice, fair, and really helpful, especially when things got tricky.
Game purchase
This game is so dang cool with its awesome concept, rich backstory, and huge world to dive into. But man, it’s seriously tough for newbies to figure out, even after playing for months. The curve for learning is like straight up a mountain, and if you don’t have good tips or guides, it’s like you’re just wasting your dough. I really wish there was more help or support out there for folks just starting out so they could really get into the game and have a blast.
Playing EVE Online
I've been playing EVE Online on and off since 2006, and let me tell you, the game has really changed a lot over the years. It's still a top-notch game with a little bit of everything for all types of players. Sure, the learning curve can be a bit tough for newbies, but don't worry - there are plenty of experienced players out there willing to lend a hand.
Subscription and Plex cost change
I'm really upset about the recent changes to the subscription and Plex costs for us Russian players. It just doesn't seem right to raise prices so suddenly without letting us know beforehand or giving a reason. With the costs going up, it's been hard for me to keep having fun with the game like I used to.
12-year veteran of this game
I've been playing this game since 2006 and let me tell you, it's been one frustrating ride. The customer service is terrible, taking forever to respond to tickets, and when they finally do, they never seem to be on the player's side. It's just not worth the money to keep playing this game. The worst part is the risk of getting banned for things that are out of your control, like accepting gift contracts from other players only to have everything stolen by the GMs. And good luck trying to get help with that issue. Do yourself a favor and play something else, like Star Wars or any game that actually values its players' time and effort.
Online gaming experience
As someone who plays this online game, I gotta say, the gameplay is really captivating and keeps me hooked with its unique and complex experience. The community is awesome and makes the game even more enjoyable. But, man, there's a big issue that needs to be fixed - the lack of support from the company running the game. It's super frustrating to put in all that time and effort just to have it all go to waste because of bugs that mess up my progress. And don't even get me started on the customer support. They just don't seem to care about their software bugs and brush off any complaints from players. This lack of accountability really ruins the gaming experience.
Omega subscription
I'm really disappointed in the recent changes that were made to the game. I've been playing EVE Online since 2007, and after taking a 6-year break, I was super excited to jump back in. But pretty quickly, I realized that without an Omega subscription, I couldn't access a big chunk of the game's features, skills, and ships. I get that they wanted to add new skills and tweak ship setups, but it's frustrating that they nerfed the self-defense mechanisms. Now, you can only have one Core Stabilizer on a ship, leaving me open to even the weakest attackers.
On top of that, half of my hard-earned items are locked behind CCP containers that require an extra payment to unlock, which is just not cool. Trying to cancel my subscription through PayPal has been a pain, and it feels like the game has been totally ruined for me. It seems like EVE Online is catering to players who like to annoy others and play dirty, which is not what I signed up for. It's a real shame, because the game used to be a blast, but now it's pushed me to quit for good.Time-consuming login for a casual player
Man, this game is supposed to be all high tech and secure, but seriously, it's so frustrating for me as a casual player trying to log in. Why does it have to be so complicated, you know? It feels like they want to make it tough for us to just hop on and have a good time. All I want to do is log in and start playing, not waste forever trying to figure out how to get into my account.
Unauthorized charges
I was really upset when I found out that I got charged for a one-year subscription on my PayPal account, even though I stopped playing over two years ago and never gave my consent for it. It was definitely fraud, and I'm really disappointed that there weren't better security measures to stop this kind of thing from happening. I contacted customer service right away to fix it, but it took forever and was super frustrating.
Failed attempt at playing a sci-fi MMORPG
Man, this game is a hot mess! It's full of bugs and constantly freezing up on me. And don't even get me started on those intro missions - impossible to get through. I gave up after just 4 hours of pure frustration and uninstalled it. Total waste of time.
Lost ship and gameplay bug
This company really sucks, man. I had this glitch in the game that made me lose my ship and there was nothing I could do. When I reached out to customer service for help, they basically told me to back off or they'd do something to my account. So not cool, right? They were being super rude and not helpful at all, like they couldn't care less about us players. I'm totally over this game, it's a bummer they treat their customers like this. Shoutout to GM Vision though, they were the only bright spot - actually nice and helpful.
Massive multiplayer online game
This game is seriously amazing, the complexity and gameplay are top-notch. But man, the developers have totally lost touch with us players. They keep ignoring the issues and bugs we've been talking about, and just keep dropping updates nobody asked for. It's messing up the whole experience. And now they're encouraging us to make multiple accounts, but won't even give us info on our own alt accounts. It's driving more and more players away to other games. It's really sad to see such a awesome game getting wrecked by the people who made it.
