variety of seeds
I loved getting all my seeds in a one stop /shop source, plus the added bonus of getting everything I needed and the additional items that peaked my interest. You cannot beat this with a pandemic going on. I just shopped from my home got everything I wanted and was done. Thanks so much. I am now happily planting my seeds as I need too and watching them come up and waiting to enjoy my gardening season.
Seeds order
I ordered some seeds online, but it's been a week and my tracking info just says the shipping label was created and now USPS is waiting for the item. I reached out to customer service and all they did was blame the post office. When I called, they did the same thing and told me my order was already in transit and couldn't be canceled. I order stuff from different places all the time and they usually come through or at least take some responsibility, but not Ferry Morse. They just point fingers at the post office and offer no solutions. I'll for sure be steering clear of this company from now on.
Online purchase experience
I recently bought some stuff online, and when it arrived, it wasn't what I thought it would be. So, I called Customer Service and spoke with Donna - she helped me out with sending the stuff back. One thing that bugged me was the supposed free shipping. They didn't really spell out that if I didn't like the stuff, I'd have to pay for sending it back in order to get my money back. That lack of clarity was annoying, especially with how expensive shipping is getting these days. Companies really need to be upfront with their policies so we customers know what we're getting into before we buy something.
Order never shipped
I got some really cool stuff from this place on the Walmart app, but it never showed up! Like, seriously, what gives?! I was eagerly waiting for my package to arrive, but it never did. Had to deal with all kinds of hoops to get my money back through PayPal, and it was a big pain. Totally let down by the whole thing, doubtful I'll shop here again.
Garden seeds
I recently bought some garden seeds and man, what a letdown. I got five packs of seeds that were supposed to be a garden mix, with all these different flowers. But when I actually checked them out, each pack only had like 12 tiny seeds! I mean, they were so small, you could barely see them. I thought I just got a bad batch, but nope, every pack was the same. And for $1.99 each, it felt like such a rip-off. Next time I come across this product, I'm definitely passing.
Ferry Morse Sow Easy Coleus Rainbow MC
I've grown coleus from seed yearly with great success-quick germination and healthy plants. Not this year! The purple seed coating on the coleus seeds made handling easy, but germination was very slow and seedlings were spindly. I have zero plants after weeks of starting them indoors under grow lights! No more seed coating please! It only adds to the cost and in my case no plants! Very disappointed.
Seeds
Purchased a packet of their scallop squash seeds. There were lots of broken seeds, and even one seed that was mildewed! Only 3 seeds were planted, making these very expensive seeds! And none for back up if these seeds didn't grow.
I contacted the company and they said to return the packet for a refund. Who saves seed receipts?? But, if you buy from THIS company, I suggest you open their packets and check them out before you toss it. Then you get to use YOUR gas and auto to return the packet.Plants
Buyer beware!
My plants were ordered in February and shipped March 24th. They arrived today, May 21, with postage due. They will not refund my purchase.Vegetable plants
Buyers beware, Ferry-Morse takes too long to ship plants, plants arrived dead; contacted company and got no response. Ferry-Morse doesn't care about new customers, they don't contact back, and they don't stand behind their product; even when it was clearly their fault the plants died.
Pumpkin gourds cucumber peas bean seeds
Purchased multiply seed packs. If the plants came up they were very slow to grow and small ,pumpkins will not have any fruit this year some plants have just died off. Packages have 5 seeds some 8 . Have been gardening for over 30 years and NEVER had a disaster with growing vegetables like this year . This company's seeds are trash and a waste of money. Pay a little and more and go with Burpee seeds never any issues. Total waste of money. I would give them negative stars for a rating.
Sow Easy Basil
It looked like a good idea. I could see where my basil seeds were going and space them more appropriately. Only problem was really poor germination. I have been planting basil for years and I think that I planted it correctly. Don't waste your money or time on these seeds.
