Positive Experience Shopping with Free People Online.
As a client of Free People, I have had a consistently positive experience with the company. The website is easy to navigate and offers a wide variety of clothing and accessories. I especially appreciate the bohemian and eclectic style that the brand embodies.
The online customer service is also top-notch. I have had to reach out to them on a few occasions and each time I have been impressed with the speed and helpfulness of their response.
One thing that I love about shopping on the Free People website is the "New Arrivals" section. It's always exciting to see what new pieces have been added to the collection, and it's a great way to stay on top of the latest trends.

I recently bought some stuff from this store and honestly, I'm pretty happy with how it all went down. Even though I saw a few bad reviews, I still went for it and got a few things. Had to send back a couple items because they didn't fit right, but the return process was super smooth and fast. The things I kept are really nice - good quality and all that jazz - so I'm feeling pretty good about shopping here. They gave me my money back quickly, which is always a win when buying stuff online. I'm over here in the UK, and so far, things have been cool with this store. Can't wait to buy more stuff in the future and hopefully keep up this good vibe.
Rebellious Lace-Up Crop Top
I had a great experience with the customer service for the Rebellious Lace-Up Crop Top I bought. Ordering was easy, and the top arrived quickly. Unfortunately, it was too big, so I had to return it. The customer service team was super helpful and kept me in the loop the whole time. They were quick to respond to my emails and very polite. The app also kept me updated on my return, which was nice. I got my refund quickly and everything went smoothly. I'm definitely looking forward to ordering from them again in the future. Thank you!
EU delivery, original items, multiple colors
I was kind of unsure about getting anything because of the reviews, but I took a chance on some running gear. It did take a while for them to get to me in the EU, about 3 weeks, but when they finally did, I was really happy with what I got. The clothes were just what I wanted, so good that I got them in a few different colors. Every time I ordered, everything went well and the stuff showed up in perfect shape.
Overpriced pants purchase
Let me tell ya, I messed up and ordered these expensive pants that were terrible quality. When I tried to return 'em, dealing with customer service was a nightmare. They first said I had to send it back to the US warehouse on my own dime, so I did. Then, they said I shoulda sent it to the UK warehouse instead once they got it. Can you believe that? They're totally clueless and it feels like they're trying to scam people. Don't bother spending your money here, for sure.
Loyalty not honored
I'm really bummed about Free People's customer service. They told me I'd get store credit for a return, but then they backed out of it. I've been a loyal customer for so long and spent a lot of cash on their stuff, so I was pretty surprised and let down by how they treated me. It's obvious they don't care about customer loyalty, so I'd advise others to be careful when shopping with them.

I just wanted to share how awesome my last order was. It got delivered by DHL and showed up at my door super quick, in just 2 days. Plus, there were no extra customs fees, so that was a nice bonus. The thing I got was exactly what I was expecting, and I'm super satisfied with it. I'd totally tell my friends to use this service.
Birthday shoes, too small
I recently bought a pair of shoes for my friend's 80th birthday, but they turned out to be too small for her. She was really excited about them, but they just didn't fit. I tried reaching out to customer service at the store to exchange them for a bigger size, but they were not helpful at all. They kept saying they would help, then hung up on us. My friend is 80 years old and battling cancer, and this situation is really stressing her out. Her birthday was ruined, and I am very disappointed in how the store's customer service team handled it. I've been a loyal customer for over ten years, so I expected better treatment. This whole experience has been awful, and as a result, I won't be shopping at that store again.
International order frustrations
I was super pumped to order something from another country, but every time I tried to buy it, they kept making me pay in a different currency. The customer service chat was useless, all they did was give me a phone number that never worked. I even tried calling a number in France, but that was a no-go too! This website is a total mess and I'm so annoyed!
Recent Clothing Purchase
I've been a loyal customer of this brand for a while now, dropping some serious cash on their clothes. But man, my most recent experience was a major letdown. I placed an order for some items that were supposedly in stock, only to find out six days later that they were actually out of stock and wouldn't be available for another two months. The lack of communication and organization here is just not okay, especially for a big-name company like this.
And don't even get me started on their choice to use On-track for shipping. My order has just been sitting there for five whole days without even being picked up. And this isn't the first time – my past orders with them were also delayed multiple times for no good reason. It doesn't help that the delivery folks for On-track are contractors, not actual employees, which just adds to the overall lack of accountability and reliability in their service.Lost Orders
Hey everyone, I've ordered from this place twice now and both times my stuff never showed up! I tried reaching out to customer service but they just hung up on me. I'm definitely not shopping here again, it seems like they don't even care about making sure you actually receive your order. Definitely not cool!
Clothing items
As someone who bought clothes from this company, I gotta say I was pretty let down by the quality. The clothes just felt cheap and definitely not worth the price. I know some companies use sweatshops, but this company's products were really lacking in quality. Even with my background in clothing, I couldn't find anything good to say about what I bought. So yeah, based on my experience, I can't really suggest this brand to anyone.
Two things bought
I ordered two adorable items online, but only received one in the mail! They wanted me to fork over more cash for the other one, but my mom put her foot down. I chatted with a few folks over the phone and all they did was claim it wasn't their fault. But come on, who else could it be, right?! Definitely not giving them my business again, that's for sure!
Dirty bag with used items
I just bought a bag for my daughter's birthday, hoping it would be perfect. But when it showed up, I was bummed to see it was dirty and had stuff from someone else inside. Clearly, the bag had been used before it got to me. I tried to talk to customer service about it, but all I got were automated messages that didn't really acknowledge how bad the situation was. It felt like they didn't care about making things right. So, I won't be buying from them again.
Distressed jeans purchase
I recently bought a pair of distressed jeans from this store, and unfortunately, they split in half after just a short time wearing them. I reached out to customer service for help, but was disappointed to find out that my only option was a refund if the jeans were unworn and unwashed. It was discouraging given the situation. I get the need for quality control, but it was tough to not get more help. Seems like their product quality might be hit or miss, since I've had no problems with other jeans from them. Overall, this whole thing has left me feeling annoyed and let down.
Overseas purchase issue
As a customer from overseas, I went through a really frustrating situation when I bought something from this store. I ordered something to be sent to Europe, and then they asked me for a transaction ID, which I've never been asked for before when shopping online. I tried to follow their instructions and talk to their customer support team, but I just kept facing delays, misunderstandings, and not knowing what was going on with my order. They kept sending me to different departments and giving me unhelpful answers, so I felt like they weren't really listening to me and it made me really mad.
