TreePod set purchase
I recently bought a TreePod set and I gotta say, I was super impressed with the whole thing. Buying stuff during a pandemic can be pretty stressful, but Gear was awesome the whole way through. I had some questions about customer service and they were quick and helpful in their responses. The best part was getting my order earlier than I thought, which was a nice surprise. Because of the great experience, I've already placed another order for some more stuff. If you want a cool hanging spot for your yard or camping, definitely check out the TreePod options at Gear.
Xero Mesa Trail II shoes exchange
I recently bought a pair of shoes from Gear, but unfortunately, I got the wrong size. I went through their return/exchange process online and it was surprisingly smooth and easy. I sent in the photos they asked for to show the shoes were still new, and they approved my exchange super quick. I used the return label they gave me to send the shoes back through USPS. It felt like as soon as they got my shoes, they had the correct size on the way to me. It was really fast and impressive how well everything worked out. When I got the new shoes, they fit perfectly and I'm so happy with how everything turned out. My whole experience with Gear was awesome and went above and beyond what I expected.

Fast, Easy, Secure
I just bought something off this website and man, they got my order to me super quick! Even with it being the crazy busy Christmas time, my stuff showed up right on time. Plus, their website was so easy to use and I felt totally safe the whole time I was buying. This was my first time shopping here, but you can bet I'll be back. I definitely suggest it to anyone who wants an easy shopping experience.

Online purchase
I gotta say, I just bought something online and I gotta give a shoutout to the awesome customer service and lightning-fast shipping! Seriously, those customer service reps were top-notch, super friendly and really went the extra mile to help me out. Returns? Piece of cake. Done in a jiffy. I'm totally hooked on their website and can't wait to buy more stuff from them. Now, if only they'd start selling camera gear, they'd have a customer for life!
Refunded amount
I recently had a problem with a restocking fee from something I bought. I left a review talking about my worries online, and customer service reached out to me right away. They totally understood where I was coming from and ended up giving me a full refund, which was awesome. They told me they'd make sure the fee details were clearer on their website so other people wouldn't have the same problem in the future. But when I looked at their site again, the info was still kind of hidden in the "100% Guaranteed Returns" section under "notes". Even though that's the case, I'm happy with the help I got from customer service and how quickly they addressed my concerns.
Shorts
I just bought a pair of shorts from this store and man, was I bummed out about the return process. Their policy is super strict - you only get 14 days to send something back. Plus, you have to wait for them to approve it and shell out $9.95 for a return processing fee, which includes shipping. It's so annoying that in this day and age, sending stuff back can still be such a pain.
Snowboard boots purchase
I just bought some snowboard boots from this online shop and I'm so glad I did. The price was better than what other big stores were offering, and the quality of the boots was even better than I expected. The customer service was fantastic - I got a confirmation right after I bought them and then a shipping notice the very next day. It was a nice touch to get a personalized email from the Gear.com team, making sure I had all the details about my new boots. Alison and her crew really went out of their way to make sure I had a smooth shopping experience.
TreePod purchase
I got my TreePod super quick, just four days, even during this crazy pandemic, and it arrived in great shape. Brig was awesome communicating through email, really made it feel like a personal experience. I definitely suggest checking it out!
Minn Kota trolling motor
Gear.com is a group of liars and cheats!
I purchased a trolling motor from Gear.com on March 27, 2023 for $1,991.55. This was the wrong model. I contacted Gear.com and they assured me that the return/refund was no problem, and they sent me a return label.
I ordered the correct model trolling motor on March 28, 2023–trusting their words—and I returned the incorrect model as directed.
A couple weeks went by without any response, so I became leery and opened a claim through Chase, my banking institution. A couple more weeks went by and I get a call from Steve with Gear.com. Steve tells me that they have received my return, however they cannot process a refund until I remove the claim through my bank. Again, I trusted Gear.com, WHICH IS A TERRIBLE DECISION! And Steve’s phone number quickly turned into nothing more than a cell phone that vm answers on the first ring. See, once you remove a claim through your bank, you cannot make that claim again, AND Gear.com KNOWS THAT! So, now I have no leverage.
I went even higher into Chase and filed a complaint! After a week, Chase got back to me and Gear.com told Chase that as soon as they had received the return, they would issue the refund. But remember, Steve from Gear.com already confirmed the received return, and I have his vm stating just that! STILL, Gear.com REFUSES TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND REFUND MY $1,991.55, AND HAS DIFFERENT STORIES TO ME AND MY BANK! Here we are at the end of May, 2023 at a standstill, and I’m stuck with no help to retrieve my money!
I have contacted the city attorneys in Draper, Utah and I am registering a complaint with their Consumer Protection Agency. I am almost helpless to get my money back, and I am extremely disappointed in Chase as well, so I’m removing all my money from them and going through that entire process of changing my entire financial life, AND ALL BECAUSE Gear.com ARE LIARS AND CHEATS!
