Cookbook search for Bistro Noir Slow Cooker
I just bought the Bistro Noir Slow Cooker, Skillet & Grill and I've been really enjoying it. The only problem I've run into is that there's no recipe book made specifically for this model. I've tried looking online but couldn't find any recipes that are meant for this cooker. I found recipe books for your other products, just not this one. It would make my cooking a lot better if there was a recipe book made just for this cooker.
Pan set warranty issue
I just bought a pan set from this company, and I'm really bummed because one of the pans started chipping after just a few weeks of use. I reached out to the company, gave them all the info they asked for, but they wouldn't honor the warranty and replace the crummy pan. It's so frustrating to see such poor customer service and no follow-through on their products.
Waste of money
Oh my goodness, this product is just awful! I mean, come on, it's supposed to be non-stick, but it's actually really sticky. I was hoping it would help me cook easier, but instead, it's just making everything more difficult. What a joke!
Overpriced pans
I bought a set of pans from here and man, was I let down. I tried my best to take good care of them, but pretty soon they were sticking like crazy. My advice: don't waste your cash, just get a regular non-stick pan instead.
Mayflower three pan set
I bought the Mayflower three pan set on sale and man, was I let down by the quality. I only used them a couple of times before two of the pans started losing their coating around the edges. One of them even lost its coating inside after just one batch of rice. I emailed the company about it and got an acknowledgment saying they'd get back to me in 24 business hours. But it's been crickets since then. This lack of follow-up just made me even more frustrated with both the product and the customer service.
Nonstick Pan Purchase
So I bought this nonstick pan from this one place recently, and man was I bummed out by how bad it turned out to be. I mean, after only a few weeks of using it, the darn thing got all sticky and impossible to cook with, even though I made sure to treat it gently with soft utensils and wash it properly. And get this, when I tried reaching out to customer service for some help, they had the nerve to blame it on me using extra virgin olive oil, saying it has a low smoke point. Like, seriously? That's the lamest excuse ever! A good pan should be able to handle that no problem. Plus, the customer service was super slow and kept sending me these cookie-cutter responses that didn't even address what I was complaining about. What a total bummer of an experience.
Non-stick pan
I bought this non-stick pan thinking it would be amazing, but man was I mistaken! It started sticking eggs right away and just got worse in two weeks. I did everything the care instructions said, but no dice. Definitely the worst non-stick pan I've ever had, sticks more than my old regular pans. And to top it off, the company won't replace or refund it, totally blaming me for their lousy product. Not at all like they advertised!
Non-stick frying pans
I got these non-stick frying pans from this shop not too long ago, and man, let me tell you, I was so let down by how they turned out. Everything I cooked stuck to those pans like glue, and they got all scratched up and dinged so quickly. Honestly, I ended up tossing them in the trash because they were pretty much worthless. And don't even get me started on the customer service - it was terrible. So yeah, my advice would be to steer clear of buying anything from that place.
Non-stick pans
I bought some non-stick pans from this store, hoping they would be good for a while. But, after about 8 or 9 months, the non-stick coating started coming off. I took really good care of them, washing them by hand with gentle soap and a soft brush, but now they're totally useless as non-stick pans. I got different sizes like big and medium frying pans, a small frying pan, and a pancake pan, but only the pancake pan is still non-stick because I haven't used it much. I wouldn't recommend these pans to anyone since they didn't live up to their promise of being durable.
Non-stick pan set with lids
I bought a set of non-stick pans with lids not too long ago, but I was pretty disappointed with them. I got them at the end of last year, thinking they might sway me on non-stick cookware. Turns out they're only really good for boiling water, soups, and stews - not for much else. The non-stick part started to wear off real fast when I tried to fry meat on high heat. So, I went back to my trusty thirty-year-old cast iron pans, even though they're a pain to clean.
Cookware set
I bought a cookware set from this store not too long ago and gotta be honest, I'm really bummed out about it. The non-stick coating started peeling off after just 6 months, even though I made sure to follow all the care tips they gave. Now I've got that toxic aluminum peeking through, which is super sketchy and not cool at all. Plus, the design of the set wasn't all that great since the chipping happened mostly around the edges and the handles.
Expensive pans
I bought some expensive pans from this store, thinking it was a good investment. But man, just a few months later, the coating on one of them started peeling off, even though I took good care of it like they said. I contacted customer service, hoping to get it sorted out quickly, but they've been dragging their feet for over a month now. They keep saying they'll send a replacement, but then they don't follow through. It's been so frustrating and a total letdown. Such a waste of money!
Induction pots not compatible
I bought some pots from this company and they don't work on my induction cooktop. I had a technician check it out and they confirmed the pots are not compatible. I reached out to the company for a refund, but they told me to send the pots back and haven't refunded me yet. I've filed a complaint with the Department of Fair Trading because I'm not happy with how they're handling this. Dealing with their customer support has been really tough and unhelpful.
