Wife's Christmas gift
I gotta tell you about the awesome gift I got my wife for Christmas from this one place. She's been using it non-stop and she is absolutely loving it. Here's the kicker - I unknowingly signed up for their rewards program and didn't realize it for a whopping 9 months! I finally caught on and called their customer service, and let me tell you, they were amazing. They not only canceled my account, but they also gave me a refund for all the money I spent on the program without even knowing. I am beyond impressed with their customer service. I will definitely be shopping with them again in the future. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Puzzle kit
OMG, I just got this puzzle kit and it's seriously awesome! There are like a million pieces and I know it's gonna take me forever to finish, but I'm super pumped about it!
Christmas tree with fiber optic lights
So, I went and bought this little fake Christmas tree from that place, thinking it would deck my halls with fiber optic cheer. But man, was I let down. First off, it was smaller than I thought, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt there. What really bummed me out was that the bottom of the tree was missing lights, making it look all wonky and incomplete. The quality wasn't bad, but for what I paid, it just didn’t add up. Then, a few days later, wouldn’t you know it, I found a tree just like it at a big store for way cheaper, like $80 less! Like, yeah, it wasn't as good quality, but come on, that price gap was too much. And to top it off, I saw their return policy on the website - I'd have to pay for shipping and a return fee just to send the thing back. No way I'm shopping there again. Lesson learned.
Fitness tracker
I bought a fitness tracker from this company, but had to send it back because it didn't fit right. The return process went smoothly, but I still haven't gotten my money back after waiting over a month. The customer service folks said they're behind, but that's not a good enough reason for such a long wait. If I don't see that refund soon, I'm thinking about asking my credit card company to stop the payment. After seeing other reviews with the same issues, I don't think I'll be buying from this company again.
Misleading product description
I recently bought something from this store that was advertised as made with fancy Icelandic wool, but it turned out to be 100% polyester. The ad was totally misleading because it said the item was warm, lightweight, breathable, and water-resistant because of the Icelandic wool, which is known for being tough in cold winters. But when I looked at the tag, it said it was made of polyester. So, I contacted the company and they just told me to trust the tag because it was the most accurate info. It really bummed me out that they falsely advertised the product.
Overpriced shipping charges
I can't believe this company wants to charge $17.95 just to ship some clothes from Ohio to Pennsylvania. And on top of that, they're trying to add another $1.99 for the carrier. It's just crazy how much they're asking for, it's so unfair. I'm not gonna give my money to a company that's all about greed like that.
Toy not delivered in time for Christmas
I ordered a toy as a Christmas gift for my son on December 6th. Even though they told me it was in stock and processing, the toy never showed up. I tried emailing and calling customer service, and finally found out just 10 days before Christmas that the toy was out of stock and sold out everywhere. It was really sad for my son to miss out on his gift because of this company's mistakes. I wouldn't recommend shopping here if you don't want to waste your time and money.
Christmas decorations
I recently ordered some Christmas decorations and it turned out to be a total disaster! When the package arrived, half of the items were missing, and I never got any explanation or apology for the mistake. When I reached out to customer service, the first lady I spoke to just abruptly hung up on me. The second lady was unable to give me a clear answer on when the missing items would be sent because her computer was running slow. And when I requested to speak to her supervisor, she told me he was too busy to talk to me. Such a bad experience, I definitely won't be shopping here again.
Holiday crackers
I bought some holiday crackers from this store not too long ago, but sadly I haven't been able to fully enjoy them. It's been almost a month since I ordered 2 sets, but I only received 1. On top of that, the second set went missing during shipping. When I reached out to customer service for help tracking it down, they were not very helpful and wouldn't even contact FedEx to find the missing items. Now, I'm still waiting on the third shipment and feeling really frustrated with how things have gone. The whole experience has been pretty disappointing, and I don't think I'll be ordering from this store again.
Bluetooth Speaker Purchase
I just bought a Bluetooth speaker from this shop, and it was a total disaster. The thing showed up with old batteries that were all crusty inside, so I couldn't even use it right away. When I reached out to customer service to get it sorted out, they told me I had to pay to ship the broken one back to them. And on top of that, they made me pay for the new item and wouldn't give me back the money for the return shipping. It was super disappointing and irritating, and now I'm not going to buy anything from that place again.
Refund Process
Don't even waste your time trying to get your money back from this place if you're in a hurry. It's been two whole weeks since they got my return, and I still haven't seen a dime. Customer service is saying they're swamped with returns, which isn't really making me feel any better about the situation.
Tabletop Pre-lit Fir Tree
I bought a Tabletop Pre-lit Fir Tree as a gift from this store, and it was priced at $84.96 back in November. But I ended up changing my mind and tried to cancel the order. Even though I spoke with someone and asked for the cancellation, the item still got shipped to me. When I got the package, I followed the company's directions to reject it and send it back to UPS for a refund. To my surprise, I found out I was charged $110 instead of getting my money back in full. The retailer kept $18.90, which is not okay with me. I've complained multiple times, but I still haven't gotten a satisfactory solution. The package was untouched, and I even made sure it was securely taped up before sending it back. I won't stop until this is resolved to my liking.
Choreographed Light Show Tree
I was pretty bummed out about the Choreographed Light Show Tree I bought recently. Turns out, the one I got had already been sent back by someone else because it was broken. On top of that, I found out about a sneaky monthly membership fee hidden in the fine print, which just added to my annoyance. I'd suggest that other folks keep an eye out for surprise charges and think twice about getting stuff from this company.
