Latex for less mattress
For a couple of years, I was not feeling well: bloody nose sinus, daily headaches, cramps in my leg calf. At first, I didn't know the source of my discomfort was my comfort area until I was advised to check the mattress. A friend of mine helped unzip the mattress cover and to our surprise mold everywhere. Research revealed that the chemicals used to make foam mattresses are the reason I was unwell. Decided to ditch the mattress and order something from Latex For Less, although I was skeptical at first. Received my Latex For Less mattress two days ago, and the quality seems great. Also, it was affordable. Will use the mattress and update this review once I've used it longer. Hoping it turns out to be a great buy!
Organic latex 9” mattress
I recently bought the 9” organic latex mattress from the website, and I gotta say, I was really let down by the mixed up info on there about what the mattress is made of and its firmness. I was trying to be smart about my purchase, and I noticed that the details under the See Mattress Details and the FAQs didn't match up. The site said there were different amounts of wool, support latex, and core latex in the 9” mattress, which left me feeling unsure about the whole thing. Also, the firmness levels listed for the latex in each layer didn't add up since there are only two layers, which just made things more confusing. It's frustrating when a company doesn't keep their website updated with the right info, especially for something as important as a mattress.
Natural latex mattress purchase
I recently bought this natural latex mattress, and I gotta say, I was pretty let down. The company advertised it as having an "organic cotton cover," but it turns out that it's actually half polyester. And to make matters worse, the cover reeks of febreeze, which definitely isn't what I was looking for. It's seriously annoying when a company talks about how great their natural materials are for not giving off any nasty smells, only to stick a bunch of toxic polyester around the latex.
I tried reaching out to them about it, but they acted like I was crazy and denied any wrongdoing. Even the tags on the cover straight up lie, saying it's "100% cotton" when it's not. That's just plain dishonest, in my book.
On top of all that, the customer service I got was super rude. Not a great experience, to say the least. I'd tell anyone looking for a mattress to stay clear of this company if they care about their health.Pillow purchase
I was super excited to get this pillow after hearing how great it was online. But man, was I wrong! It's like sleeping on a freakin' rock! Waking up with neck pain, shoulder pain, and headaches every morning was not what I signed up for. And when I reached out to customer service, all they had to say was "tough luck." Yeah, no way am I ordering from them ever again!
Latex pillow purchase
I thought this pillow would be amazing, but man, it's a huge disappointment! Total low quality and my head just sinks right through it, leaving me with neck and back pain. When I reached out to their support team, they basically told me tough luck, check out the return policy - which doesn't cover returning pillows. And don't even get me started on those fake reviews on their site! Such a scam, seriously!
Mattress
This company apparently doesn’t have a concept of a FIRM mattress, which is what I ordered. I was really excited about getting their latex mattress, but it was NOT firm. I sank down into it, and could actually see that I was lower than the edge. When I sat on the edge, it sagged. After awhile the mattress started causing me a new back problem I’d never experienced. I can’t really say the price was good for something that I wanted to return. At least they agreed to let me return it, but apparently they didn’t want it either. They agreed to refund my money if I donated it to a charity. That was great because it was extremely heavy and almost impossible to pack for shipping.
