1 year old washing machine pump issue
Unfortunately, our one-year-old washing machine started acting up, making a horrible noise due to a pump problem. We contacted the company right away since the appliance was still under warranty. But man, were we let down by the service we got. The repair company they sent was a mess - didn't show up for the appointment and was totally unprofessional. When we asked where they were, they tried to say they came and knocked but got no answer, which was a flat-out lie. So, we had enough and decided to just fix it ourselves. It's so frustrating when you expect a reputable company to be reliable and accountable, but they just let you down.
stove burners
I bought some new stove burners and man, let me tell ya, the customer service was absolutely terrible. I called them up and the folks I talked to were so unhelpful and downright rude. One of them even got snippy with me, and another straight up hung up on me when I was just tryin' to find my order. And on top of all that, Maytag didn't even include the paperwork I needed with the burners. It was just a big ol' mess and I gotta say, I was not happy at all with how they treated me.
Washer and Dryer
I bought a washer and dryer set from this company and man, it was such a letdown. The dryer conked out after five years and the repair cost was through the roof. Decided to trash it and get a new one instead cause it just wasn't worth it. I've had dryers that lasted way longer than this one. Pretty disappointing, gotta say.
Washing machine
I recently bought a washing machine from this company and man, I gotta tell you it's been a huge letdown. The water saver feature doesn't even do its job right - it leaves my clothes only half-cleaned and still dirty. When I called customer service for some help, the person on the other end suggested I game the system by running everything on the BULKY CYCLE. Can you believe that? I mean, c'mon, that's just nuts! I was expecting a decent product that works well, not one that makes me go through hoops just to get my laundry done. Needless to say, I won't be buying from them again and I'll definitely be warning others about my bad experience.
Washer and gas dryer combo purchase
I bought a washer and gas dryer set from a popular store in Ontario, Canada. When the gas dryer was installed, it started leaking gas because of a busted shutoff valve. It took forever to get a new part, even though the brand says it's super tough. And to top it off, the washer crapped out after just 2 years, needing a bunch of parts replaced.
Brand new dishwasher
I recently got a new dishwasher and it's been giving me nothing but problems! First, it was defective and needed a replacement part. And now, it's acting up again with all these error codes. I just want a dishwasher that actually works!
Electric dryer purchase
After we bought an electric dryer for my family, I gotta say, it was a letdown. Right after we installed it, the darn thing started acting up. We had to deal with the headache of returning it and getting a new one. But now, even the replacement dryer is giving us trouble - it won't shut off correctly. It's been a real pain and annoyance for us. The quality of this product just ain't what it used to be.
Top loader HE washer purchase
I just bought a high-efficiency top-loading washer and let me tell you, it's been a huge letdown. No matter what cycle or detergent I use, my clothes always come out dirty. The water barely covers the clothes and the agitation is weak, so stains don't even budge. I thought this brand was supposed to be top-notch, but I'm having to pre-soak my clothes by hand just to get them clean. This washer is definitely not cutting it and I'm already thinking about getting a new one.
Top load agitator washer
I got this top load washing machine with an agitator, but it stopped agitating right before the one-year warranty was up. They sent a technician out, and they said it might be a messed-up electronic board. They fixed it, and it worked for a bit but then it broke again. This happened a few times, and the technician had to keep coming back. Trying to get help from the company was no help because the customer service folks didn't seem to care. So yeah, I'm not happy at all with how this washer is working.
Front load washing machine purchase
I recently bought a front load washing machine and I'm really disappointed with it. The thing started leaking right after I got it, and even after reaching out to customer service and having a technician check it out, the problem still isn't fixed. I've had to wait for parts, deal with multiple service calls, and I still can't use the washing machine like I should be able to. Plus, it's super loud when it runs, which is not okay. It's pretty clear that there are design issues if customers have to buy extra hose extensions just to get the thing to work properly. Overall, this whole experience with the product has been frustrating and disappointing.
Dishwasher purchase
I had the worst experience with their customer service. I tried calling their 800 number and ended up waiting on hold for a ridiculous 90 minutes without even getting to talk to anyone. The way their representatives talked down to me was just unbelievable. I definitely would not recommend them.
