Hanfu, Denim jackets, & Necklace
I found out about Mukzin through Depop, & since then, have been purchasing from them in the past year. Here is what I noticed:
- the website has its list of strict policies and ethics, which I love
- customer service is kind and quick to respond, and I have been in contact with them several times
- the clothes are high-quality and the details are exquisitely made
- their instagram page is kind to their customers and respond quickly even when I DMed them
The experience I have had may differ for someone else, but from the multiple times I purchased from them, I have never had a bad experience! I was able to buy several pieces from them because I had won a giveaway on their instagram, and I was not disappointed in the pieces I had chosen.
The hanfu came in good quality material and detailed embroidery—my entire family adored it & asked me to wear it on my birthday to show my cousins. I got the denim jacket as a gift and my friend loved it as well, including his family when they saw the details of the design.
Mukzin has become one of my favorite brands easily (:If you have any questions, you can contact the official customer service. I believe in the quality of this brand. I like their style and quality.
Hi, It's me again!
I've returned back to this site after having purchased the pink dress from the Jia Long collection, and I'm so sorry to hear about everyone's experience they've had with customer service, sizing, & packaging! They've helped me refund, switch sizes of clothing, and have responded to me so promptly that I'm surprised to see the other reviews. All my packages come in a holographic style package with the clothing in a zipper bag, which I think seems to be the average standard of each package I received. My grandmother had ran a sewing shop in Asia decades ago, and had admired the embroidery and craftsmanship of the pieces I bought so I took her approval as judgment.
After seeing other reviews, if anyone is still interested in purchasing from Mukzin, I would recommend waiting for a sale to purchase 1 item, to see how your experience goes! For size reference, I wear a size S & am 5'2 107 lb with 34D bust, 26" waist, and 35" hip. I hope this helps & good luck! Just received my parcel today and got to say I am impressed x At first I was worried about the sizing but it turns out to be correct to my size x I was so close to getting a size S when it states that for UK size 8-10 it would be a size S but thank god the customer service got back to me stating a size M would be a much better fit for a UK size 10 and so one happy customer here! ???? It was states that it’d take 10-15 working days and it arrived in 10 xx
Update: I don‘t even get the shipping price that I paid myself fully refunded. They seriously told me PayPal fees are not included. I’ve never met a company in my life that sells expensive items but makes you pay for returning items and then don‘t fully refund the shipping price. Besides it wasn‘t even my fault that they shipped the wrong size.
Blue T-shirt - JIA LONG
I like this style of clothes very much, and the logistics are relatively timely. I like it, I hope new styles come out!!!
Wrong size dress
I ordered a dress that they ship in the wrong size. What I didn‘t knew is that I had to pay for return myself and they don‘t pay it back unless the package arrived. When I received the dress I thought the quality would be good since it‘s expensive and they marketed their items to be good quality items. Turns out it‘s 100% made of polyester which makes it feel and look cheap. Quite disappointed and don’t understand the hype.
Update: They don‘t refund the full shipping price. I‘ve paid over 42€ shipping from Germany to China by myself. I‘ve never met a company where I have to pay for the return eventhough it wasn‘t even my fault that they sent it in the wrong size. Never again.
Garment
Return policy is ridiculous. 45 days, ship it yourself to china with tracking and responsible for extra charges associated with customs.
Sweater & Shorts
Tracking number was invalid, parcel showed up wrapped in layers and layers of duct tape. No instructions on how to return items. Sizing runs a bit small and material does not seem that high quality.
On the plus side items were true to the pictures, I got a jumper which I love and shorts (which don't fit properly). Don't think it's worth the price for such poor service.
