I have been using Poshmark as a seller and buyer for the past few years and overall, I have had a positive experience with the company. The platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate. The search function allows me to easily find items that I am looking for, and the messaging system makes communicating with other users a breeze.
As a seller, I appreciate the ability to quickly and easily list my items for sale. Poshmark also makes it easy to track and manage my sales, and their shipping label system is convenient.
As a buyer, I have found a lot of great deals on the platform and have had good experiences with the sellers I have purchased from. The ability to negotiate prices with sellers is also a plus.
Overall, Poshmark is a great platform for buying and selling fashion items. The community of users is friendly and helpful, and the company's policies are fair and reasonable.Selling an item on the platform
I just sold something on this platform and boy, did I run into a big problem. So I sent the item to the buyer, right? And then out of nowhere, my account got locked up. Now I can't get to the money for the thing I sold. I've been trying to get in touch with customer service by email, but they haven't gotten back to me at all. And to top it off, there's no phone support. This whole situation has me feeling super frustrated and like I can't do anything about it.
First-time purchase on Poshmark
I recently bought something on Poshmark, but it was a bummer. The seller ghosted me, and after waiting around for 8 days with no word on my order, I gave up and canceled it. It was my first time using Poshmark, and it didn't wow me. Still, when I contacted Poshmark for help, they were quick to respond and issue a refund, so I give them credit for that. Compared to other sites I've shopped on, the radio silence from the seller was a real letdown.
Two items from Poshmark
My time using Poshmark was pretty good because the stuff I bought was just as described and came quickly. But, I gotta say, the website layout was a bit of a mess and hard to figure out. Sorting through items was a pain and it seemed like my preferences were getting messed with without me knowing. I think Poshmark would be way better if they revamped their website with the help of some expert IT folks to make it more user-friendly.
Shoes purchase
My experience buying shoes on Poshmark was such a letdown. I came across this amazing pair of shoes and didn't hesitate to order them. Sadly, after I made the purchase, I never got any confirmation or tracking details. I tried reaching out to customer service a few times, but they were no help at all and didn't solve the issue. It just made me feel like I wasted both my time and money.
Shoes in the wrong color
In my experience, getting something in the wrong color is definitely a good reason to ask for your money back. I had this happen to me on Poshmark not too long ago, and the customer service person said no to my refund because they thought color was subjective. I didn't get it, that response just made me confused and mad. I think when you order something and it shows up in a different color than what was advertised, that's a mistake on the seller's part. Customer service should listen to valid complaints to keep customers happy and trusting them.
J Crew jacket
My first purchase on Poshmark was a disaster. I got a J Crew jacket I already have two of, so I thought I was good to go. But the jacket I got was completely different. It was way too short, making me think it was an old model, a new one, or just a cheaper version. I contacted the seller about swapping it out for something else to make things right, but they never even responded. I was so frustrated, I tried reaching out to Poshmark support for help, but that just made things worse. They wanted more photos in perfect lighting without any wrinkles - all while I was stuck at work and had no one to help me take pictures. The jacket finally showed up all crumpled in a flimsy envelope inside another envelope, covered in wrinkles. The whole thing was a mess and now I'm done with Poshmark. Go with Ebay or Amazon for better customer service and save yourself the trouble.
Selling my items
I joined Poshmark to sell some stuff, and they said I'd get my cash in a few days. But it's been almost two weeks and I still haven't seen a cent. I've tried contacting customer service a bunch of times, but crickets. And now they went and shut down my account. I'm so irritated and feel like I got played, with $400 of mine still MIA. Thinking about how many others they've done this to is just upsetting.

Hey everyone! So, I had a crazy experience with Poshmark recently. I was totally convinced I got scammed, only to find out that some shady person was posing as a real seller. I had to reach out to the authorities and my bank to sort out the situation. And let me tell you, their customer support was a nightmare. I just kept getting generic replies and it was nearly impossible to get in touch with them quickly. Just a heads up, watch out for those sketchy sellers out there!
Overpriced item, lack of response to offer
I totally agree with all the bad reviews I saw here. Honestly, this app is making me think about deleting it after the terrible time I had. When I signed up, I was hit with so many notifications that I had to quickly disable them all. I came across something I wanted to get for a friend, but the price was just way too high. So, I tried to make an offer, but now it's been more than 24 hours and I haven't heard anything back. It's really frustrating and kind of a letdown.
Recent experiences with selling and purchasing items
My recent experiences on Poshmark have been pretty frustrating. I sold a fancy wallet and a valuable jersey, but both got stolen by some shady users on there. I tried reaching out to Poshmark for help, but they didn't really do much to fix the situation. I had to go all out, tracking down the thieves and even taking them to court just to get some justice for my stuff. Poshmark really dropped the ball on protecting their users, making it risky and sketchy to use their platform.
Trying to sell, too overwhelming
I was selling some things yesterday and man, it was overwhelming! Got hit with tons of notifications, invites, and scammers trying to reach out. I decided to deactivate my account pronto because it was just way too crazy for me. Nope, not dealing with that!
Priority Mail Shipping
I just bought something on Poshmark and chose Priority Mail for shipping. Even though it's supposed to be fast, my order is taking longer than expected. The package was sent out on April 1st, and now it's the 5th, but it's still not here. I know delays can happen, but it would be nice to know when to expect it more accurately.
Cute sweater
I picked up this super cute sweater online, but man, the customer service seriously dropped the ball. I reached out for some help and got this super generic response that didn't even come close to addressing my question. Then, when I asked to cancel my order because it hadn't shipped yet, they straight up ignored me and sent it anyway! Come on, really? That's just not cool, guys.
Replica bag purchase
Hey, I wanted to let you know that I bought a fake bag from someone on Poshmark who goes by the username Pinayginer. I was really disappointed because the bag wasn't real and was misrepresented on the site. It's annoying to see sellers like that trying to trick people. Just a heads up to be careful and report accounts like that to Poshmark so they can take action.
