Ticket purchase experience
I just bought tickets on this website and got the confirmation and tickets like normal, but man, was I bummed about the cost. The tickets ended up being way more expensive than I expected, especially the service fee - it was literally the same price as the tickets themselves! I was really put off by the lack of clarity on the fees.
Train tickets online
Oh my gosh, buying train tickets online was awesome! It was so easy and flawless. The only thing that would make it even better is if we could include the names of the other passengers as well. Not a big deal if we can't, but it would be a nice touch. What if they don't have the same name as the person getting the tickets? Anyway, the service was much better and faster than that other French thing, SNCF Connect. Thank you!
Train tickets Seoul to Busan
I recently bought train tickets from Seoul to Busan on their website and it was super quick and easy to use. The payment options they offered were efficient and made it really convenient for me to make my purchase. However, it would have been nice to have a seating plan so I could choose my seats like you can with airlines. I did ask for three seats together in the notes and luckily, they gave us seats all together. They sent the tickets to me right away by email, which was a relief because I could easily check my booking details. Overall, it was a decent experience, but having a seating plan would have made it even better.
Easy reservation process, confusion with ticket printing
Making a reservation with Rail Ninja was so easy. I found and booked the tickets I needed in no time, no problem at all. But then things got a little tricky once the tickets were all set. They told me to print them out, which didn't make sense because I already had them on my phone. It was kind of annoying and confusing, but besides that, everything went smoothly with the reservation.
My train seats got snatched away
I was so excited when I picked out my seats and paid for them, thinking everything was going to be awesome. But then they hit me with a "Sorry, those seats are taken." It was such a letdown, I had to quickly come up with a whole new plan and choose different seats.
Indonesia train tickets
We booked a train months ago to go from Jakarta to Yoga. They asked what time, what class, etc. We picked a train time and class that exists. Weeks later they said they couldn't accommodate the time, pick a new one. One option listed was the same time. Rinse and repeat.
The train is next week and we still don't have ref... to get tickets from railninja. We booked via tiket.com and had the ref... within a minute. They still have our money.
Avoid railninja at all costsTrain Tickets
This company charged me USD 296 for 2 tickets from Edinburgh to London, a reservation done with more than 2 months in advance. They never show me or inform me of any price breakdown during the reservation process in order to know the service fees and taxes. Then a month later I received the tickets with total face value of USD 162, therefore the fees and taxes changed are more than 80% of the face value of the tickets. I understand that an intermediary company for buying tickets (of any kind) should charge fees and taxes, but more than 80% is a big robbery. Never again using this website. I recommend to go directly to the train services providers website to buy the tickets, but don't use Rail Ninja... they are thieves, this company has no added value and is stealing customers. I was also not able to cancel the tickets because I will lost the money. Lesson learned.
RailNinja scam (Belfast to Dublin)
RailNinja was a horrible experience! Do not use them! I purchased four first-class tickets from Belfast to Dublin, and the ferry from Scotland was delayed...for about six hours. When I called the train station to change the time of the tickets, the representative couldn't find our reservations (even though I was supposed to pick up the tickets at the station). When I mentioned that I purchased through RailNinja, the representative made a comment that purchasing through the train station is safer. When I contacted RailNinja-there was no customer service. She said that the tickets were non-refundable.
Rail Ninja
We bought 1st class or business class tickets from Belfast to Dublin via Rail Ninja. About a month before travel, we got an email from RN asking if we would agree to change our departure time from 10:30 to 1:30. When I agreed, I got a notice that indicated that we were booked on a bus. When.I contacted RN, i got a non-answer about synchronized schedules. I looked up the cost of a bus which was a fraction of what our train tickets were. When we got to Belfast, we went to to train station and bough tickets to Dublin. By then it was too late for a refund from RN. Be very cautious in your dealing with Rail Ninja. They seemed shady, non-responsive and a rip-off. I would never use them again.

There are so many bad reviews regarding Rail Ninja.
I personally have bad experiences with Rail Ninja - I was tricked into thinking buying directly from the JR Japan rail company, they not only overcharge but any modifications or cancellation to the ticket is with excessive charge - and there is no phone no listed for customer service.
Their website should not be allowed to operate. It's a SCAM and FRAUD.
Other reviews indicated that RAILNINJA makes the whole process via email looks LEGIT which they email you a passcode and password for you to show to the ticket counter officer. But it is not VALID through all JAPAN JR Railways.RAIL NINJA TICKETS
I bought two tickets from Jeddah to Medina. They sent me only one ticket. It took them 6 days and multiple emails to send the return ticket. They finally sent the ticket ONE day prior to departure, after multiple requests. No apology, no explanation. Their website was down for 24 hours. I was left in the lurch. I had to spend time finding new ways to get from Medina to Jeddah.

Please kindly avoid Rail Ninja at all cost. They overcharge consumers and calls this their pricing strategy. When you reach out to the Support team, they have no intentions in resolving the situation and only provide text book like answers. This company have no ethics and morals. They only offer a 70% refund put do note that this refund is the true ticket price. So regardless of what situation this company makes no lost. Please do not purchase from it will only cost you extreme distress and unhappiness

Norway Train is the website that I made my reservation for a first class refundable ticket for a very high price. Right after I paid, the website suddenly redirected to Ninja. I figured this must be a scam. I wanted to cancel my ticket but regretfully I can only receive a very small portion of what I paid. I contacted them several times and only received an email explaining how to cancel my ticket, by agreeing with their term and condition.
This term and condition was not included at the time of booking. Please DO NOT use Norway Train website, it will be redirected to this company.e-tickets
Perfect service, all tickets available. Nice customer support polite and highly professional. Suggested me the best travel option, I didn't expect italian trains to be so comforable and great to travel compare to taxies or busies.

Compre un billete de Ave Madrid a Málaga con fecha 7 de marzo y tras abonarlo vi que me habían emitido uno para el 9 de mayo.

OJO ESTAFA!!!!Portuguese trains
I booked all my trains during my Portuguese trip on rail.ninja, wouldn't say a bad word about the service - received all tickets on time. Trains were good without the slightest delay, not even comparable to my experience with busses. Can't say a word about support, got all tickets to my email and didn't need to contact them.
Tickets Vienna Prague
Bought tickets for my family with kids, was afraid to go - first time with my twins. The train was exactly as support girls described it, even with champagne. Thank Rail.ninja support team, you are going a great job in such an unpredictable times.
Train tickets in Spain
Most impotent middleman company. First they sell you tickets they don't have. Then they say that tickets are delayed and while you waiting all other tickets rise in price. And after all they just provide you with the "sorry for inconvinience" mail where offering you to either buy overpriced tickets or fully refund (oh, thanks for that at least!).
Just use another ticket provider, you'll only lose your time and money here.Tickets in Europe and South Korea
Helped a lot with tickets in South Korea a few years ago. Now using for train tickets in Europe. Simple, fast and reliable. Not cheap, but the service is good. Very good experience, helpful support team.
