    Hiking shoe

    I bought a new pair of hiking shoes recently and man, was I let down by the quality. I knew going in that these shoes had some durability issues, but I figured I'd give them a shot anyway. Well, on my first hike, just stepping over a little rock ended up ripping a hole in the mesh and tearing through the top of the shoe. It was way too easy for them to get wrecked, especially for the price I paid. I tried reaching out to customer service to see if they could help with a replacement or something, but they weren't willing to do anything. I was really expecting better quality and service from this company. If you're thinking about getting these shoes, I'd suggest looking at other options first.

    Quest 4 GTX hiking boots

    I recently got a new pair of Quest 4 GTX hiking boots and man, they're a huge letdown. My old pair from the same brand lasted me almost a decade and were amazing, so I thought I'd go with them again. But these new ones? No good. They have zero grip on wet rocks, which is a big problem when you're trying to hike safely. I was slipping all over the place on a recent trip to Ben Nevis, and it was honestly really scary and frustrating. Even on wet cobbled roads in town, I couldn't get a grip. It's made me lose all trust in this brand and their stuff. And to top it off, when I tried reaching out to customer service for help, they totally blew me off. Such a letdown. I think it'd be best for folks to look elsewhere for hiking boots to avoid the same issues and dangers.

    Comfy boots

    I got these boots that were super comfy and light at first. But then they started leaking after just a month and completely fell apart in less than a year. They say they're waterproof but they definitely aren't! They were good for summer walks but nothing else. Not great for UK weather at all. Won't be buying these boots again.

    Adv Skin 12 backpack

    I just wanted to share my experience with the Green Runner Adv Skin 12 backpack I got not too long ago. I noticed after just using it three times, the stitching on the shoulder strap was starting to come undone. I reached out to customer service with pictures and details, hoping they could help. Unfortunately, I was not happy with their response. They basically said since the strap still worked fine, they wouldn't do anything else about it, but they offered me a small 10% discount for my next purchase. While I appreciate the offer, it doesn't really solve the problem. The backpack should not be falling apart so soon. I even said I would fix it myself if they gave me the chance, but they didn't even consider it. When I tried to talk to them more about it, they kind of brushed me off and said they'd only give me one more chance to reach out. I feel like they're ignoring me now, which is just not cool. It's disappointing to see a brand like Salomon, that I usually trust for my running gear, handle things this way. How a company deals with complaints really shows what they're all about. After this experience, I'll have to think twice about buying from Salomon in the future.

    I just bought a pair of hiking shoes and let me tell you, they are seriously awesome. I love spending time outside, so I always look for shoes that are tough and can handle whatever I throw at them. These shoes definitely delivered on that front.     I bought some Supercross shoes straight from the company, and after just 7 months of wearing them normally, both shoes split at the toe. I contacted the company to try and get it fixed under warranty, but they said nope. They gave me a bunch of "we're sorry" and excuses, basically telling me tough luck. They talk about how great their stuff is, but when it actually messes up, they don't want to do anything about it. And the funniest part was when they said my satisfaction is their top priority - I had a good laugh at that.

    Trail running shoes

    I've been buying trail running shoes from this company for years because of their quality, but lately, the products haven't been holding up. The shoes I got fell apart after only a few wears, and the lace mechanism broke twice in a short amount of time. It's frustrating to see a brand I used to rely on disappoint me like this. On top of that, the retailer won't honor the warranty for a clear manufacturing issue, which just makes everything worse. If you're considering buying these shoes, I'd suggest thinking twice before going through with it.

    Purchased large outdoor backpack

    I recently bought this big outdoor backpack online, but man, it was a mess. First off, there was no way to track it, so I had no clue where it was during delivery. When it finally came, it was way too huge for what I needed, so I had to return it. But then, the return system didn't even register my order, and my order number didn't work. Trying to reach customer service was a nightmare too - the phone just rang and rang with no answer for days. Honestly, this whole experience with this company was a huge letdown.     I was so pumped to get my new shoes, but then UPS messed up and didn't deliver them because they said they didn't know my door number.     Quest GTX hiking boots

    I picked up a pair of hiking boots for about $200, and after only two years, they started getting water in near the toe crease. Managed to swap them out for a new pair thanks to the warranty, but the same problem happened again after just two more years. Boots were still in good shape otherwise. Pretty bummed about the low quality, definitely won't be getting anything from this brand in the future.

    Trail running shoes

    I just bought these trail running shoes from this company, thinking they'd be tough and top-notch. But man, was I let down. Their customer service was pretty lackluster and the shoes themselves were not up to par at all. I've only had these shoes since October and they've already got holes in the upper part and all the thread is coming off. That's not cool for shoes made for the great outdoors. I'm definitely going back to my usual brand for my next pair.

    Ski delamination warranty denial

    I bought some skis from this company and man, what a letdown. I only used them for about a week and already they started falling apart - no bumps or anything, they just started coming apart. Did some digging and turns out this is a known issue with this model. Tried to get a warranty replacement, but they straight up said no - blamed it on me. So disappointing, their skis are trash and I won't ever buy from them again.

    Women's shoe, Salomon XA Wild

    I bought these women's Salomon XA Wild shoes not too long ago, and man, I am so bummed about how quickly they fell apart. I've only had them for six months and already there are holes in the toe area. I mean, come on, I shelled out almost $200 for these kicks, I thought they'd hold up better than this with just casual wear. So I decided to hit up the company about it, and they hit me back saying the warranty was up and only covered purchases made on their site. Seriously, that's not cool at all. They should stand by their products no matter where you buy them from.

    Replacement pair shoes

    I recently bought some new shoes after my old pair fell apart, but now the new ones have broken too! I sent in pictures to show how messed up the soles are, but they won't give me a refund. They offered me half off on another purchase, but who's to say that won't break too? I'm one unhappy customer right now!
