    I have never been so disappointed with the Stitchery until now. I requested a chart of DMC numbers for this project because they only sent color boards of floss, with no numbers, which made it difficult to buy extra floss. I received 3 color boards. I spoke to the call center twice, both telling me I would receive it by the end of the week. They said they would send me the floss, but I never received it. I offered to pay for it too. I will never buy another thing from the Stitchery again, which in the past has been a great experience.

    I contacted The Stitchery in January regarding items missing from my order. I received a prompt response to my email and I was told that the missing items would be sent. I have contacted customer service a few times since my original email and I have been told that the replacement is in the mail. It is now March 1 and I still have not received the replacement items. I cannot complete the project therefore, I have requested a refund.

    Cross Stitch Needles and Magnifying Light

    I am completely disappointed by The Stitchery.
    I received an order that was not mine... and have no idea what happened to my order.
    I talked to customer service, who told me to check with my post office.
    One item in the order was back ordered. I was never informed it was on back order. The in stock date was more than a month away. I was never informed it was back ordered. I only discovered that when I received the things I didn't order. I've cancelled that item. I will not be ordering from them again. The positive - I don't have to send back the thing that was sent to me in error.

    2 Needlepoint Kits, 1 Needlepoint Frame [that fits neither kit]

    When I opened a $250 order for 2 needlepoint pillow kits and 1 frame, I found that neither needlework canvas fits the frame that was recommended to me. I called about ordering an additional set of rods that would fit the 2 canvases, but the representative said they did not carry the correct size rods that will fit my kits. However, he said they would like me to buy additional rods that are 4 inches too long for the kits I bought. When I asked the rep, in exasperation, to send me a return shipping label for all the items, the answer from the rep was, "It is up to the customer to shoulder the cost of all returns." Well, I have already shouldered the initial shipping and received/paid for a $70 frame that I cannot use. In addition, when I first ordered my items on August 21, I was assured that everything would arrive well before September 2nd. Nothing arrived by the 1st of September. When I called the company that day explaining we were leaving for Labor Day weekend, a representative said that since the items were coming by FedExPost, I should not worry. The items, she assured me untruthfully, would be sent by FedEx to my post office first before coming to my home for delivery. Since we were having our mail held, she assured me, my $250 order would be safe and held by the PO. Wrong, not true. FedEx delivered the box directly to our outside door on September 2nd. The box sat out in the weather for 5 days. I have been waiting for 2 hours now for a promised call back from a supervisor as I write this. I was told someone would assist me with a no-cost return of all items. I have little hope about this because all my experiences with Stitchery service and with customer care have been disappointing. I do wish I had read the previous review before I considered ordering from the Stitchery. I hope my review helps you avoid The Stitchery and encourages you to find another shop.

    Stamped cross stitch Christmas table runner

    Ordered a Christmas stamped cross stitch stamped kit with Santa & Reindeers in Aug 2020. Had a hole in the middle of the fabric. Called and they sent a replacement 9/3. Received the wrong kit. Was told it would be 6-8 weeks before it would arrive. Not enough time to make it for a gift. Very poor customer service. They say they are sorry but they don't mean it. They don't go out of their way to correct their mistakes in a timely manner.
