Outdoor shoes purchase
When it comes to buying outdoor shoes, I definitely recommend going to the store instead of shopping online. Even if the size is right, the fit and comfort really depend on how the boots are designed. It's risky to just buy shoes online without trying them on first, because you might not like how they feel. I learned this the hard way when I bought outdoor shoes online and they didn't fit right. Luckily, the brand had a good return policy, so I was able to exchange them for a bigger size and avoid being stuck with uncomfortable shoes.<br><br>Also, the brand's products are top quality. I usually love shopping from this brand for all my outdoor trips, but man, I was so bummed to hear about their recent policies. As a person of color from the UK, I felt really let down by how they were treating their customers. So I said, forget that, and decided to check out Columbia instead. Let me tell you, they have been absolutely fantastic and super welcoming. It's like a breath of fresh air compared to that other brand we won't mention.
Lungern Padded Jacket
I bought the Lungern Padded Jacket for my trip, but on the second day, I got soaked because the arm seams and front chest pocket were leaking. I was really disappointed with the quality of the jacket because it ruined my whole holiday and I was uncomfortable all day. Luckily, the store gave me a full refund, but I won't be buying any more expensive jackets from them.
Borealis backpack purchase
I just bought a Borealis backpack online for my big trip abroad. The website said it would take 12 days to get to me, so I ordered it early. But now it's been over three weeks and I still haven't heard anything about my order. The tracking info still says it's been "Awaiting Carrier Pickup" for the past six days.

Refunded waterproof jacket
I just had to return this waterproof jacket I got from this company and they refunded me under the warranty after a couple of months. But, honestly, I felt kinda unappreciated as a customer because they didn't apologize or offer to replace it or even give me a discount to get a new one. The customer service people didn't seem all that interested and just sent me back to the warranty folks. I had really high hopes for this fancy brand, but I gotta say, I was pretty let down by how they handled things.
Overpriced sweatshirts
I got this sweatshirt that was made in Mexico. It's nothing too exciting, just your average sweatshirt. A bit thicker than those cheap ones you find, but honestly, not really worth the steep price for a logo that's not even that cool anymore. Nowadays, people aren't really into big logos on their clothes. I only wear it because it was a gift, otherwise, I wouldn't be splurging on just a basic, overpriced sweatshirt.
Winter jacket
I just bought a winter jacket from this store to keep me warm in the cold weather. But the courier messed up and lost my package before I got it. I didn't tell them to leave it anywhere and now the store won't send me a new one or give me a refund. Their customer service has been terrible – no help at all in fixing things or making up for my lost order. I'm stuck without my jacket and pretty let down by how unprofessional and uncaring this company is.

I bought this ridiculously expensive Arctic Parka coat that doesn't even keep me warm! And to top it all off, it stinks when it gets wet. I tried to return it, but The North Face wouldn't even give me the time of day. They're a terrible company, tricking people into buying stuff that's not even worth it! I'm warning everyone I know to stay away from that place.
Jacket for nephew
I bought this awesome jacket for my nephew and he absolutely loved it! But when I washed it like the tag instructed, it shrunk so much that it no longer kept him warm. I reached out to customer service for help, but they wouldn't assist me in fixing the issue - not cool! They really need to improve the quality of their products, especially for kids. They should at least offer me a voucher or something!
First time order - Jacket for weekend use
I ordered a jacket for the weekend and paid extra for faster shipping, but I was bummed with how long it took to arrive. They said it would come in 11 days, but that was longer than I thought. I really needed the jacket for the weekend, but it didn't show up in time.

Customer service and online shopping experience
My recent experience with the customer service and online shopping at this store was really disappointing. I had a bunch of problems with their warranty process and the whole online shopping experience just didn't cut it for me. Even though they say they'll back up their products, trying to get a defective item replaced was a real pain. So, I won't be thinking about buying from them again anytime soon.
