Designer purse
I recently bought a fancy purse from The Real Real and I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with it. It's just like how they described it and the color is exactly what I wanted. The shipping was quick and reliable, which is always a good thing when you're buying stuff online. But when I got the purse, it smelled like tobacco and weed, so I'm pretty sure the previous owner smoked. That was a big bummer for me 'cause I don't smoke. They should definitely be more clear on the website about whether a product comes from a smoking household. And they should be more careful when they're checking out products that people bring in for consignment, so this doesn't happen again. Having to clean the purse to get rid of the smell was annoying and unexpected, so I can't give them a perfect score for my experience.

I had a really good time with my first order from The Real Real. The service was awesome, and my order came pretty quickly. It was nice to keep an eye on my order as it made its way to me. One thing they could do to make it even better is maybe put a plastic bag around the stuff inside the box to make sure it doesn't get messed up in shipping. I recently bought a purse and wallet from The Real Real and my experience was a bit all over the place. The purse was in great condition just like they said it would be, but the wallet was way more scratched up than I thought it would be and the zipper was a pain to close. It would've been nice if they mentioned that in the description. Also, I was surprised that these fancy items didn't come with much packaging. The purse was just thrown in a box with no protection, and the wallet was in a plain bag with no padding. As someone who sells stuff myself, I would never ship things out like that.
Dream blazer, fast shipping, duty taxes
I just got my dream blazer from The Real Real and I'm so happy with how everything went down. Even though I saw some haters on social media, buying it was easy peasy. The quick shipping, especially right before Easter, was a nice bonus. The only bummer was the pricey duty taxes from UPS.
