Ordered 4/11 received 5/25. Expected ‘plugs’, grass/roots/soil as shown in the picture. Received sheets of bare root grass. Planting anything bare root is a huge pain I try to avoid. Dormant in May...Read on

Just here my views not reviews about Amajoy grass.Some times near July i found here Very right time for me when everyone is stick at home.
So i had chosen a job for me to keep myself more busy in gardens and plantation .
Bought 15 trays Once get all grown all front area will automatically covered by green velvet all over.
In fact I called nursery to know how much trays will be suitable to cover whole lawn area .Accordingly picked fifteen trays .This is December ,almost five months completed and now scenario changed.A green carpet blessing my decision and small investment.
I would suggest friends ,try once to grow green ,Whole farm is always ready to help just on one call.

3” plugs
Ordered 4/11 received 5/25. Expected ‘plugs’, grass/roots/soil as shown in the picture. Received sheets of bare root grass. Planting anything bare root is a huge pain I try to avoid. Dormant in May? I am a landscaper, hoping to plant a drought tolerant grass in a strip along the road for a customer. The watering everyday (200’ from house) is not going to happen. Actual live plugs would not need that much watering/attention to get established. I’m not saying it won’t work, but did not get what was advertised. Writing this at 4 am. Probably going to ditch the whole order, eat the cost as I cannot afford to put in the time and frustration planting BARE ROOT grass! And expecting my customer to do that much watering. I see a number of others have received shipments recently in the same shape. Would like to give 0 stars. Won’t let me. Only allows you to give 2.

Ok, so there is a little soil attached to roots... but why is it dormant on 5/25? It’s not dormant here in Ct and your farm is south of here.
