Clip Studio is seriously the best software I've come across for drawing and painting. I've been using a different one for animation, but after trying out Clip Studio, I'm definitely thinking about making the switch for that too. The price is great, and it's super easy to use. Art app subscription
I used to really like this drawing app, but now that they're making us pay a subscription for updates, it feels like a total rip-off. I already shelled out for the license and now it seems like a waste.
Year subscription purchase
I messed up by trusting this company with my payment info for a year-long subscription. Got an email a month before it ended, saying they switched payment systems and I needed to put in my card details again. When I tried to take my card off my account, it said no cards were on there and told me to add a new one. I decided not to add a new card, thinking I removed it correctly. But a month later, they still charged me for the subscription even though there was no card on file. When I asked customer support for a refund, they refused. This whole thing made me feel ripped off and used. Be careful if you're thinking about buying anything from them - maybe use single-use cards to protect yourself from their shady actions.
Unlimited License
The licensing system for this software is just terrible. It's really frustrating that you can't easily access your account on their website to check your plans. If you start with a free trial and then decide to upgrade to an Unlimited License, they conveniently forget to get rid of the previous trial license, which could lead to charges until you cancel it yourself. On top of that, there's no option for a refund if you're not happy. And the fact that you can't even delete your card details from your account is just terrible. It's obvious that this company doesn't take customer service seriously and their software comes with a really weak system.
