CycleVIN: Mediocre Motorcycle History Check Service
I've had a pretty mixed experience with CycleVIN. On one hand, their website is easy to navigate and they offer a wide range of services for checking a motorcycle's history. I've used them a few times to check the VINs of bikes I was considering buying, and their reports were always detailed and accurate.
On the other hand, their customer service leaves something to be desired. I've had trouble getting in touch with someone when I had a question about one of the reports, and it took a while for them to respond to my emails. Additionally, their prices are on the higher side compared to some of their competitors.
All in all, I would recommend CycleVIN if you're in the market for a motorcycle and want to make sure you're getting a good deal. Just be prepared to potentially have some frustration when it comes to customer service.Motorcycle
The accident and claim report was very reassuring but my main purpose of obtaining the report was to verify the owner of title as I was buying the bike from a third party. I have done this with CarFax and I had the name of every owner of the vehicle...this gave me NONE. Nit difficult to counterfeit an out of state title these days. Cycle VIN mere states "contact the DMV for owner history". I would not use CycleVIN again.
