Transparency and dispute resolution
I've used a bunch of different affiliate networks before, but I gotta say SaS really stands out to me because they're so transparent and good at resolving disputes. One thing I really like about them is that they let you know when a merchant's account is running low on funds, which is super important for us affiliates because it could affect when we get paid. And on top of that, SaS gives us info on a merchant's chargeback rate, so we can avoid shady merchants. Recently, I had an issue with one of my merchants, but SaS stepped in and sent an email for me. Even though the merchant didn't respond, I appreciated the help and was able to end the partnership with SaS's help. All in all, SaS really works hard to make sure things are fair for both affiliates and merchants.
Affiliate program experience
I've been using the affiliate program for a few years now and it's been pretty smooth sailing. I've had no problem finding different merchants to partner with, and I've never had any issues getting paid. The reporting system got an update recently, and I think it's easier to use now, which is great. The tracking has been spot on, and I haven't had to contact customer support at all. All in all, my time with Shareasale as an affiliate has been really good.
Affiliate network experience
As someone who's been around the block in affiliate marketing, I've worked with all kinds of affiliate networks. I recently decided to give shareAsale a shot because I heard good things about them. But man, was I let down. I put in a bunch of work driving traffic and making sales, only to have my account shut down out of the blue on payday. No heads up, no explanation, just my commissions snatched away. It's pretty messed up how they operate without any transparency or communication. Trust and honesty are huge in this business, and shareAsale didn't deliver on either. I wouldn't recommend anyone work with them - they're sketchy and unreliable.

Email address change issue
I had a frustrating experience trying to update my email address on ShareAsale. Every time I tried to change it, the customer service rep just didn't get it and couldn't help me out. I told them my old email was gone and on a private server, so I couldn't verify the new one. But they didn't give me any solutions or other ways to verify. I was really bummed out by the rep's lack of understanding and problem-solving skills. It felt like they were just ticking off boxes instead of really hearing me out. In the end, I was left feeling annoyed and with no fix to my issue.
Merchant Account Opening
So, I recently decided to open a merchant account with this company, and let me tell you, it was a total nightmare. They hit me with a whopping $750.00 fee just to get started, and then added another $50.00 on top of that for who knows what. What really got me was that after only a month, my account suddenly stopped working out of the blue. I had no idea because the dashboard still showed my account as active. When I tried to get a hold of customer service, I got nothing but crickets. They said it's all self-help, but hey, as a regular user, I think it's their job to let us know when there's a problem with our accounts. This lack of transparency is not just annoying, but shady and maybe even illegal. I've seen other folks with the same complaints, so it might be time to think about some legal action here.
Fraudulent orders
I made a huge mistake ordering from that company. I got scammed and lost a ton of money because their affiliates placed fake orders. They never answer the phone when you need help - it's like they don't care about their customers at all. I would definitely recommend staying away from them!
Registration as merchant
I just signed up as a seller on this platform to try and boost my business. But man, I hit a major roadblock during the setup that really bummed me out. So I reached out to customer service for help, only to be told I needed to hire a developer. Like, really? The problem was with their instructions, not my website. Their lack of support and slow response time was a letdown, for sure.
Affiliate program experience
My experience with the affiliate program was pretty disappointing. The company seemed a bit sketchy and didn't take responsibility for making sure things were fair. When I checked out reviews on their social media, it was clear I wasn't the only one having issues with their affiliate program. ShareAsale doesn't seem to own up to voided transactions, which leaves affiliates like me open to getting ripped off. There was this one time when a seller didn't show proof of a voided transaction, and both ShareAsale and the seller kept the money without bothering to respond to my questions. The way they lack communication and accountability is really concerning and makes the company seem shady and untrustworthy.
Purchased a product
My overall experience with this company was pretty disappointing. I didn't have much faith in their services because of all the negative reviews I had come across. Their lack of reliability and customer satisfaction had me feeling unsure about doing business with them.
Affiliate program experience
I signed up for an affiliate program with ShareAsale recently, but I haven't been getting the payments they said I would. The support I've been getting is as bad as what I dealt with from WP Rocket. They didn't give my clients good service for what they paid for the plugin. So, we're not gonna use WP Rocket anymore and we'll be careful with ShareAsale's program. It seems like they're trying to hide payments and even charge fees for sending out checks again. It's worrying and looks like a scam.
Investment opportunity
I gotta say, my time as a shareAsale customer was a real drag. They tried to suck me in with the whole crypto deposit for big profits pitch, but it was all a big scam. I didn't fork over enough cash and I ended up losing what I put in. And get this, they even threatened to come at me legally for speaking out about it. No doubt about it, shareAsale is just a bunch of shady characters out to prey on folks who don't know any better.
Scary stuff!
I was really freaked out when this company I checked out on another site got in touch with me. They asked for all my personal info and then started bombarding me with spam. Not cool at all!
