Genealogical research scans
Looking through the census scans has really helped me get a better sense of how my ancestors lived. Seeing the actual documents from back in the day gives me a whole new perspective on my family history. I especially liked checking out the newspaper section, it was cool to see what daily life was like for my relatives. The only bummer is that there aren't a lot of scans available for parish marriage registers, especially in London. It would be awesome to have more of those records accessible. A good tip for other folks digging into their roots is to try different spellings when searching because a lot of people back then weren't great at writing or spelling. All in all, I'm happy with the scans and how they've enriched my research.

As I kept digging into my family history, I got better and better at entering and organizing all the data. The little hints that popped up as I added more relatives really helped point me in the right direction and uncover some cool new info. What really caught my eye were the hints for ancestors going back five generations - that's something I hadn't seen on other sites I've tried before. As I got more familiar with the website and adding details, it all started to feel more like second nature. Now, I'm way more sure of myself and relaxed about it all than when I first started out.
Email inquiry followed by phone call to the call center
I emailed the customer service team to ask about a service I was interested in. Since there's a big time difference between the US and UK, I figured I'd call during UK office hours. When I called, I was connected to a call center in Scotland, which was a nice surprise. The girl who helped me knew a lot about the services and was able to answer all my questions. But what really made an impression was how friendly and funny she was - it made the whole experience really pleasant.
Genealogy research purchase
I just started digging into my family tree and decided to buy a genealogy research subscription. I really wanted to find out about my great-grandparents who came from Ireland. I didn't know much about when they came to the US in the 1800s, but I found a ton of info on this site. By putting together a family tree with my parents and grandparents, I was able to figure it all out and finally learn the names and birthplaces of both my great-grandparents.

I really like using this platform for my genealogy research. It's way better than any other site I've used before. I go here for all my research needs now. The option to report errors is so helpful, it's helped me fix some mistakes in my family tree. I appreciate all the records they have available, they've really helped me make progress in my research and get past some tough spots.
Long time
I've been with you guys for a while now and honestly, I haven't found anything new that I don't already know. Your subscription fee seems a bit on the pricey side compared to some other sites I'm looking at. I'm gonna keep looking around to see if I find a better deal for the info I want. Keep doing what you're doing though, thanks!

I love all the pictures they have on this site, gives me lots of choices for my research. But it can be tough trying to cite them properly when they don't give you much info. It would be really handy to have the source material available for better references.
Quick call for assistance
I just bought something new and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to use it. I really wish they had a live chat for customer support, because I don't have a lot of time to waste trying to make sure this is the right fit for me. It's tough to tell if I'm doing everything correctly and if it's really worth the time and money I'm putting into it.
Family tree building tool
As a new user, I found the family tree building tool interface a bit overwhelming. I wish there were more customization options for the tree diagram, like changing the background color and making named people stand out more. I also had trouble figuring out how to simplify the tree by removing branches and hiding the stories icon on each member. It was frustrating to have to check each record one by one instead of doing a global search. A tutorial video on the basics would be really helpful for beginners like me. Overall, I think there's a learning curve to using this tool properly.
