    Recent game purchase

    After some not so great experiences at other places, I figured I'd check out this store. And man, am I happy I did! The customer service here is amazing. Natasha was super friendly, helpful, and really got into helping me out. She made the whole trade-in process easy and fun. The difference between this store and the others I've been to is huge. It's obvious that good customer service really does matter. Whether it's the new folks they've hired or the management, this store is definitely doing something right. Thanks, Natasha, for making my day better. I'll definitely be back here for my next purchases.

    Preorder cancellation without notification

    I preordered this super hyped up game from the store about five months back and was counting down the days until its release next month. Got an email confirming my order, but then found out the store had randomly canceled it without telling me. So now, I missed out on getting the cool collector's edition and it's too late to try and get it again. Super bummed out about the whole thing and not so jazzed about ordering from them in the future. Just a heads up, keep an eye on your preorders to steer clear of any hiccups like this one.

    Man, let me tell you, buying a PS5 from GameStop was a total disaster. They took my cash and then never even delivered the dang thing. Not to mention, the box they used for shipping had their logo all over it, so it was super easy for sticky-fingered delivery folks to swipe it. When I tried to get some help, GameStop told me it would take 7-10 days to fix everything. Well, let me tell you, that turned into almost a whole month of waiting with no end in sight. Their customer service crew said they had a ton of problems to deal with and couldn't give me any idea when they might actually help me out. It's like they took my money and then just disappeared when I tried to get a refund or my gear back. Total rip-off.

    PS5 console with included game controller

    I bought a PS5 from this store and man, it was a total letdown. When I got my order, turns out they sent me the wrong controller. So, I tried reaching out to customer service but it was tough to understand the reps because of language issues. Finally, I talked to someone who told me I had to send the whole console back since they didn't have the right controller in stock. I asked why they didn't just send the right one in the first place, especially after messing up my order. Dealing with all the miscommunication and the hassle of waiting even longer for the right controller got me so frustrated and disappointed. I definitely wouldn't recommend buying from this store because their customer service is terrible and they clearly don't pay attention to the details.

    I ordered something online from this company, but I never got it. I tried contacting customer service a bunch of times, and all they say is they're waiting to hear from their investigations team. It's been over 2 months of getting the same runaround, and it doesn't look like it's going anywhere. I even filed a dispute with PayPal, but they said since the package shows as delivered (even though I never got it), they won't give me my money back. This company seriously has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Save yourself the trouble and don't buy from them online unless you want them to rip you off.

I asked for my money back and after another 2 weeks, they said no unless I sent them pictures of my house. It's so crazy and annoying.

    I just bought a video game console from the store, and the staff was super nice but I was kinda bummed by the limited choices of games and consoles they had. They seemed to have way more accessories and stuff than actual games. Plus, the prices were a little steep compared to other stores, so I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy anything.

    Xbox Series S bundle

    What a joke, I swear! I thought I'd treat myself to an Xbox Series S bundle online, tempted by the promise of getting it delivered on the same day. I even shelled out extra for that guaranteed delivery by 8pm, but all I got in return was a whole day of nervous waiting for nothing. When I reached out to the store because my order never showed up, they fed me some crazy story about an Uber driver having an emergency and returning the package right away. So basically, my order just sat there in the store for hours! And when I called the delivery company, all they could tell me was that I'd have to wait until the next day to get it - no refund, no compensation, nothing. Total rip-off, I tell ya!

    I bought a video game console from this store, and man, I gotta say I was totally let down by the whole thing. So, it's the beginning of December and guess what? They sent me the wrong thing. I shot them an email right away with my order number, and they responded pretty quickly at first. But then, like, two weeks went by and I didn't hear anything from them. I sent them two more emails, but still got no response. I even asked what was up with my order in January, and they told me I'd get my right item in 3 to 5 business days. Well, surprise surprise, nothing showed up.

    Used game console and games

    So here's my deal with GameStop - I recently bought a used game console and some games from them. The whole ordering and delivery process was a total disaster. I placed my order over a month ago, and the package ended up being delayed by almost a week because it got lost somehow. To make things worse, the package never even made it to me, despite FedEx and GameStop both saying it did. I even asked my neighbors if they got it by mistake, but no luck. I tried to file a claim with FedEx, but they said I couldn't because the package was sent via economy, so GameStop had to do it. But GameStop has been totally dragging their feet and it's been nearly 2.5 weeks without any resolution. Their lack of efficiency and customer service is just not cool, so I would definitely recommend shopping somewhere else, like Amazon or Best Buy, to save yourself the headache I've been going through.

    Madden 24

    I got Madden 24 and it was a total scam! I couldn't even play it because it wouldn't load. When I tried to get a refund or a new download, they told me to contact this thing called "Steam" and get an email saying the game was broken. But Steam doesn't even have a phone number or email, just stupid articles and online support. And then GameStop didn't know what to do but wouldn't give me my money back! They're basically just tricking kids who can't figure out their ridiculous rules. It's so unfair!

    PS5 purchase for Christmas

    At 9:20 pm, I got to the store and it was closed even though the sign said it should be open until 10 pm. A cashier came outside, but instead of helping me, she just took down the store hours sign. I contacted customer service and filed a complaint with the BBB, but they said they couldn't do anything about it and didn't offer any compensation for the trouble. I felt pretty unappreciated as a loyal customer who has been supporting the company's success.
