Internet service plan
I just signed up for an internet service plan with this provider, but I was bummed to learn that the special price was only for new customers, even though I've been with them before.
Billing and equipment dispute
My experience with RCN has been really frustrating and disappointing. I lost my job last year and was supposed to get some financial help from RCN, but they totally ignored me and then said they weren't doing that anymore. Now, with the FCC's EBBP rollout, RCN has been shady with how they're handling things. They're making customers use their equipment, making them pay extra taxes, and saying they won't get any future deals if they don't do what RCN says. When I brought this up, a customer service manager told me they left out that important info on the inside, which just shows they're not being transparent or honest.
Service sign up
I just signed up for this service and man, let me tell you, I got totally burned. They were hyping up all these amazing deals and perks but when it came down to it, they didn't follow through. I even tried to bring it up with them but they acted like they had no clue what I was talking about. It's frustrating and honestly kind of shady. And don't even get me started on their customer service. They were no help at all and I got different answers every time I called. I don't know what to do next. All in all, my experience with this company was a huge letdown. I'd warn anyone thinking about signing up to be careful.
Email spam with possible malware attachment
I got this shady spam email with a TIF image attached from a sketchy website. But, I can't share it on Trustpilot because they don't allow external links. Sorry!
Internet service
I've been having a really frustrating time with the internet service from this provider. It feels like every week there's some kind of problem that messes up my ability to work from home. The constant outages are a real pain and it's just not okay for a service that I depend on for work.
