About Eurail
Eurail allows you to reach thousands of destinations by train in 28 countries. This brings you close to fascinating cities and amazing landscapes. It also frees you from the stress of driving in a foreign country with travel rules that you are unfamiliar with and car rental companies that overcharge. Travelling by train is also better for the environment.

Popular routes include Amsterdam-Berlin, Amsterdam-Brussels, Barcelona-Gijón, Berlin-Prague, London-Paris, Madrid-Barcelona, Madrid-Granada, Madrid-Málaga, Munich-Salzburg, Paris-Amsterdam, Paris-Barcelona, Paris-Geneva, Paris-Rome, Prague-Vienna, Rome-Florence, Rome-Milan, Rome-Venice, Venice-Milan, Vienna-Budapest and Vienna-Venice.

You can go on a European highlights tour by starting in Paris, and then going to the Palace of Versailles, from there to Amsterdam, then to Berlin, then to Prague, Salzburg, Füssen (back in Germany), then to Venice, Florence, Rome, the Vatican, Monte Carlo and Barcelona. There are various Eurail passes. If you are only going to travel in one country, you can get the One Country Pass. There are also passes that are eligible in two, three or four countries. If you are planning to travel in five countries or more, you should get the global pass. With the select pass, you can customize your pass to exactly suit your itinerary.

There are many different trains in Europe. Regional trains will take you to the tiniest villages, while high-speed trains will get you from one great city to another in no time. Night trains allow you to save money on hotels and use daylight for exploring instead of travelling. Scenic trains take you along the most beautiful landscapes. It is also possible to get discounts on ferries with Eurail’s pass.
