Reservation at a hotel in Newcastle
I couldn't make it to my hotel reservation in Newcastle in January because I had a medical emergency that put me in the hospital. The Revenue Manager, Dan Walker, wouldn't waive the fee for my reservation, and instead told me I had to come back and stay in order to not be charged. I thought that was unfair and not okay. Plus, when my train got cancelled on the day I was supposed to stay, they still charged me without giving me any heads up or a receipt. It was a letdown, and I recommend steering clear of this hotel.
Exceptional hotel experience in Calgary
My stay at the hotel in Calgary was fantastic. The staff there was so amazing - from the front desk folks who were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience, to the beautiful decor and cleanliness of the hotel. The bathrooms were big and modern, completely surpassing any other hotel I've ever been to. I can't wait to go back and stay there again on my next trip to Calgary.
Stay at a hotel near Kew Gardens
I just stayed at a hotel near Kew Gardens and, man, let me tell you, I was blown away once again by how beautiful everything was and how great my time there was. The rooms on the bottom floor that opened right up to the lawns were amazing, especially being so close to the kids' indoor play area. Oh, and the restaurant at the hotel was top-notch - they were super cool about my allergies. All in all, my stay was super enjoyable and definitely one to remember.
Points not credited for food and beverage consumption
As a dedicated Gold member of the frequent guest program, I've been having a really tough time getting my points for the food and drinks I've bought at the hotel. Even though I've sent in all the paperwork they need, the Hilton Honors Customer Care team has been super unprofessional. They just keep making excuses and not delivering on their promises. It's really frustrating and disappointing how long it's taking to fix this problem.
Worst customer service ever
OMG, I can't even deal with how terrible it was. First, you have to chat with a bot before getting to a real person! And then they expect you to call this number that charges a ton if you're not in the US, and the call keeps getting disconnected after 5 minutes. It's crazy!
Hotel stay in Oklahoma City
During my recent stay at the hotel in Oklahoma City, I had a pretty good time. The suite I stayed in was nice and tidy, and the people working there were really professional and ready to help with anything. We did have a bit of a problem with a broken toilet in our first room, but the staff fixed it right away and moved us to a different room without any trouble. The second room also had a toilet issue, but once again, the staff was quick to respond and moved us to a new room. Despite these little hiccups, the rest of our stay was smooth-sailing and I enjoyed it overall.
My stay at a hotel
At 3:30, this lady was so rude and just told me to use Uber Eats instead. And get this, I asked for a gluten-free roll since I'm coeliac and they just flat out said no. I mean, what kind of hotel doesn't have gluten-free options, right?
2 Nights in Texas with Family
My family and friends had an amazing time staying at this place! The free full breakfast was so good, we all loved it. The rooms were really comfortable and the staff was incredibly nice.

Stay at fancy hotel
Oh my gosh, last night was the worst! We shelled out extra cash for a fancy suite, but we had a rat in our room! It startled me awake in the middle of the night, and we had to relocate to a regular room with my family. The kids were upset and frightened, it totally spoiled our anniversary. The staff was kind, but the manager was no help. I'd recommend avoiding this place if you have little ones, they just don't understand.
Two-Bedroom Suite reservation
The Two-Bedroom Suite we booked was supposed to come with a view of certain landmarks, but when we got there, we realized it was actually facing the river. We tried reaching out to customer service and the hotel, but we didn't get a good response or a fix. It's frustrating to be tricked by misleading ads and not get any help when you're trying to sort things out.
Noisy party, homophobia, poor service
Our stay at that hotel was truly awful. There was a loud party underneath our room that went on until the early morning hours. When I asked the staff if we could switch rooms, they said there were none available, which left me feeling really upset and like they didn't care about us as guests. And on top of that, we faced some really shocking homophobia at that hotel. The people at the front desk gave us mean looks, treated us poorly, and made us feel unwelcome. Unlike other places we've stayed, the staff there were far from friendly - they were actually quite rude.
Stayed at a hotel in Grand Prairie TX
I had such a great time during my 3-day stay! The front desk folks were super friendly, helpful, and really went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I had a fantastic time and definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.
