Best patform for travelers
Hotwire is a really helpful platform for travelers as it gives a great deduction rate across the world, the best costs on flights ticket and hotel tickets. I am so over using just googling the fights where i tend to pay extra when i cmpare it to hotwire. For last almost a year now, I have using a hotwire platform for getting cheaper rates.
Their mobile app is also there, easy to use making the travel cost less, whenever you really combine all the savings you do over the month or one trip, you can certainly get a nice one day stay more on the hotel on that amount.
I have calculated that, and also compared with other applications, this is really good.
The vacation packages offere also according to my preferneces, so very helpful.Car rental date change
I had to switch up the date for my car rental 'cause of a trip, but Hotwire was no help at all! They wouldn't refund my money or let me change the date. Customer service was useless, zero stars for sure!
Hotel reservation issue
So, let me tell you about my experience trying to book a hotel online. It was a mess! I originally booked through this one website, but then needed to make a change. I tried reaching out to customer service through their chat, but no luck. When I emailed them, all I got was an automated response with a phone number to call. Turns out, I had booked through Expedia, not Hotwire like I thought.
So, I called Hotwire to straighten things out but couldn't get a hold of anyone. I finally reached a different Hotwire location, and they informed me that my reservation didn't even exist. They advised me to cancel the payment, but unfortunately, that's not an option with my Spanish bank. Hotwire is avoiding me like the plague, it's so frustrating trying to get in touch with them. I attempted to reserve a car rental through Hotwire and it was a complete mess. They totally messed up my dates and times when they sent the info to the rental company, so I had to pay more than I was originally quoted. I even had screenshots to prove I entered everything correctly, but they still wouldn't correct it. It was really frustrating, you know?
Disappointing accommodation, poor customer service
Hotwire put me in a motel instead of the 3.5 star hotel I booked. I tried talking to customer service, but they were no help. The bathroom was gross, so I ended up shelling out more money for a different hotel.
Phone installation delay
Working with this company to get a phone set up has been a complete nightmare. It's been a whole month since I started the process and I'm still waiting for everything to be done. I've had three appointments booked already, but two of them were no-shows. When the installer finally did show up once, they couldn't even get the service installed. Even though I've been asking them to contact me on my cell phone, they keep texting and calling my landlord while he's at work on Wall Street. This is causing a lot of unnecessary stress and confusion. It's really frustrating to have to wait six weeks just to get a phone up and running.
Stay booked for Layover
I was really looking forward to booking a hotel for my layover at LAX, but because of all the flight changes due to the pandemic, I didn't end up needing it. I reached out to Hotwire for some assistance, but unfortunately, they refused to give me a credit or anything, even after I showed them proof of my changed flight. I've used Hotwire in the past, but now I'm disappointed that they wouldn't help me out. I'll be avoiding them for my future travel plans. #Notcool #Upset
Unauthorized prepaid reservation
I had the worst time dealing with a rental car reservation on Hotwire recently. I was just browsing around, looking into some potential trips, when all of a sudden I found out I had made a reservation and paid for it without even meaning to! I wasted so much time talking to customer service and reaching out to different companies, just to be told that there was nothing they could do and that I should try to get a refund from my bank. It's totally not cool and I think it's really unfair.
Rental car booking
Hotwire is terrible. They gave me one price but then the rental car place charged me more. The customer service was terrible and didn't do anything to help. I won't be using them ever again.
Vacation package booking
Don't trust those fake good reviews, this company has zero customer support. Yeah, you might score a deal, but if something messes up or you need to switch things around, good luck getting any assistance. The hotels in the area are just okay, and if you're lucky, you might stumble upon a better option nearby. But when it comes to booking flights or vacation packages, steer clear of this awful company.
Disappointing hotel selection
I recently bought a hotel stay from a travel website and it was a total letdown. I was supposed to get a top-rated hotel but ended up with a sketchy motel that didn't meet my standards at all. The place was nothing like what was described. I'm really bummed out by the false advertising and shady booking process. This whole situation really turned me off and I won't be using this service again.
Car rental experience
My experiences with renting cars through this service have honestly been pretty bad. Even though I keep telling myself I won't use them again, I've been let down every time. It's just so frustrating how inflexible they are with changing reservations and how they charge so much for small issues. I'm just really dissatisfied with the whole situation.
