Best flight search app
This app is awesome! It might take a bit longer to search because it looks at every single flight, but that's great because then you can be sure you're getting the best deal. It's ideal for when your grandparents are footing the bill for your trip, whether you're flying in the states or overseas. It's also really handy for older folks who used to travel for work - now they can explore more and enjoy themselves!

The online travel search engine said they'd find the best deals on flights, hotels, and rental cars. The website was easy to use, so you could check prices and options easily. But, sometimes the results weren't right, and some deals were kinda tricky. In general, the service was okay, but there's room for improvement.
Hotel review commission scam
I had this crazy thing happen to me not too long ago. So, there was this recruiter who said they were working for a real company, right? But turns out, they gave my info to this other person who said they were from this big platform. And get this, that person asked me to write fake 5-star reviews for hotels I've never been to, all for some cash. Like, seriously? That's some shady stuff! It's totally a scam and just makes that platform look bad.

I used to love this website for their flight ratings that helped me pick the best options. But, man, I had a rough go of it recently. I booked a flight through them and got scammed by this company called edreams, which came up as the top result in my search. I got duped out of 500 bucks and didn't even get a ticket out of it. It was a total mess and left me feeling really bummed out. Momondo needs to step up and kick those scam companies like edreams off their platform to keep us customers safe.

Watch out for fake job offers from people you don't know claiming to be from well-known companies. I got scammed out of $5800 and they even tried to get more money from me. Don't fall for it. Stay safe!
Reservation issues
I had a pretty rough time with an online booking service recently. I thought I had a reservation all set, but then 24 hours later, they hit me with the news that it wasn't happening anymore. It's frustrating to see Momondo promoting unreliable platforms like Vayama with bad customer service and no accountability. When Vayama suddenly canceled my ticket, Momondo quickly backed off and told me to deal with Vayama directly. I was basically left hanging with no help or support from either company, which was a huge headache and caused unnecessary stress. Don't even bother with these sketchy websites. Just pay a little more and book with a trustworthy company like Expedia for peace of mind.
Hotel reservation in Athens, Greece
My husband and I had a hotel reservation in Athens, Greece that I booked through Momondo's website. However, when we got there, we were shocked to find out that our reservation had been changed to a totally different place far away from where we were supposed to stay. The new place was in a bad area, there was trash everywhere, and we even saw prostitutes right across the street. The walls were covered in graffiti too. The person at the front desk told us that Momondo does this all the time. I called and complained to Momondo, and they said they moved us to a "comparable property" without telling us, which is apparently their policy. They asked for pictures of the bad conditions, but never got back to us. This whole experience was a nightmare and it totally ruined our once in a lifetime trip to Athens.

As someone who travels a lot, I really depend on flight search engines to help me find good deals on flights. But the last time I tried booking through one of the travel agencies listed on this search engine, it was a total scam. I felt cheated and frustrated. It's super important for Momondo to get rid of these scam agencies so they don't lose the trust and loyalty of their customers. For example, skus.smartfares.com tricked me with what looked like really cheap prices, only to jack up the prices right before I booked. This sneaky trick is not cool and doesn't make Momondo look good as a trusted place to find great travel deals.
Booking experience review
My experience with Momondo was a total nightmare. They didn't screen the booking companies or airlines at all, so I ended up possibly booking through a scam. It's really worrisome that there aren't any customer reviews on there, because it leaves us open to getting scammed. I think Momondo should focus more on safety and think about adding platforms like Trustpilot or TripAdvisor to give us more info and make us feel more secure. By not doing that, Momondo lets shady companies rip off people who don't know any better, and that's just not a good look for them.
Travel booking experience
My experience with this travel booking website was terrible. The website was a mess to navigate; it kept freezing, crashing, and the filtering and sorting just did not work right. On top of that, it was showing me expired deals and the confirmation page was missing important info. The customer service wasn't any better - I was on hold forever, the reps were rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional, and they didn't seem to care about me at all. It was pretty obvious they had no real connection with the airlines. And don't even get me started on the prices - they were way too high, it felt like they were just trying to squeeze every penny out of their customers. It felt like a shady way to do business.
