    Great Idea

    I personally consider it a noble service,really I mean it.How VRBO convinced me first time that this location is really great for many people who may love to stay here alone or with family n friends.I can earn good money every year which is not bad at all.Yes, this was an angel where I never thought before this offer.Even I didn't consider my home as ever I rent it.Once I got my first payment I didn't believe.
    It's a great experience to see people happy and enjoying life every minutes.Some times I also think,money is very small when I see visitors of small ages ,kids I can't explain this double benefits.I would like to thank VRBO team for such wonderful chance to share joyful life.

    Vacation rental at a gated community

    We had a great time at the vacation rental in the gated community. It was super clean, big, and had everything we needed. The location was awesome - close to the beach, restaurants, and bars. Feeling safe in the gated community was a huge plus, and we loved having the pool. I'd totally suggest this place to anyone wanting a comfy and secure spot to crash. Tim Vo, the owner, was super helpful and there was always someone around to help out if we needed it.

    Booking experience

    I was a little nervous about booking through VRBO due to some negative reviews, but our stay turned out to be really nice! The bathroom was small, which was disappointing, but everything else was fantastic. The whole process of booking was simple, the host was great, and the location couldn't have been better. I'm not sure why others had bad experiences, but I personally had a good time!

    Old house redone good, hot tub, close to Joshua Tree

    Wow, this house was so awesome! It was an old house, but they redid the inside and it looks incredible. We had so much fun chilling in the hot tub and the location was perfect - super close to the north entrance of Joshua Tree National Park.

    I used British pounds to buy a nice house in London straight from my British bank. But then VRBO went ahead and changed my payment to dollars and then back to pounds, which made my bank hit me with almost 500 bucks in fees! I tried to explain the situation to VRBO, but they refused to acknowledge their mistake and wouldn't give me a refund. Not cool, man. I'm definitely not giving them a good rating!

    Glamping registration issue

    Hey there, so listen, we've got this amazing glamping spot that's totally official, right? We've got this fancy Empreendimento Turístico number to prove it. But here's the thing - VRBO only accepts Alojamento Local numbers. Like, what is that all about, you know? It's kinda crazy because our glamping place can't even get an AL number. We've been trying to explain this to VRBO forever, and all they keep saying is they need time to fix it. It's been a whole 3 weeks now and still no progress. We can't even take bookings for less than a month because our number isn't listed. It's just not fair, you know what I mean?

    Vacation rental, A/C issue

    I recently rented a vacation house through VRBO and ran into a big problem when I found out the A/C was broken when I got there. The owner said they'd get it fixed right away, but that didn't happen like they promised. Feeling frustrated, I reached out to VRBO for help and they told me about their 24-hour guarantee. They said I should leave and find somewhere else to stay, and that they'd refund the $2000 I had paid for a 6-week stay. But, I never got that refund. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my bank, but VRBO fought back. Even after showing them proof of my conversation with their customer service, the issue never got fixed. It left me with less money and feeling really let down by their dishonest behavior.

    Dirty property, uncleaned

    I rented a place that hadn't been cleaned after the last people were there. The landlord said they'd clean it the next day, but I never got back the whole refund they promised. When I reached out to VRBO customer service, they weren't much help and just told me to handle it with the owner. But then the owner stopped answering.

    Reservation cancellation issue

    My reservation got canceled out of the blue just a week before parents' weekend, and I was freaking out trying to find somewhere else to stay. VRBO recommended booking a pricier option because of their "Book with Confidence Guarantee," but it was all a big scam. I did everything they told me to do, and I ended up waiting 9 months for a refund. On top of that, I had to take it to the Better Business Bureau because VRBO wasn't owning up to their mistake. It's really disheartening to see so many complaints against them that haven't been resolved.

    Double booked property

    This company really dropped the ball on my booking by double booking the place I was supposed to stay at. They tried to make up for it by offering me a free place to stay, but in the end, I had to foot the bill myself. And to add insult to injury, they still haven't given me back my money for the first place. It's been a frustrating ordeal, to say the least.

    I reserved a villa for my family on VRBO, but then the hosts hit me up three days later and said they goofed on the price and wanted to bump it up. Instead of trying to fix things, they just went ahead and canceled my booking. I was majorly annoyed by how uncommunicative and unprofessional they were. If you're all about honesty and transparency, I'd suggest steering clear of this company.

    Recent VRBO booking experience

    I recently had a terrible experience booking a vacation rental through VRBO. I've used them before without any issues, but this time it was a total disaster. I was trying to find a place in Mérida, Mexico, and the property owner said my dates were open when they actually weren't. I ended up booking another place, but then I got a confirmation from the first host the next day, which was so confusing and frustrating. I tried to sort it out, but the host wouldn't give me a refund, so I ended up paying over $700 for a place I never stayed in. VRBO's lack of help and communication has left me really upset and out of pocket. I definitely won't be using their site again.

    Oversized Security Deposit Issue

    I had a really bad experience with a short-term rental on this website recently. When I was leaving, I couldn't get a hold of the owner at all to talk about my security deposit, and I had no idea what was going on. They took $1500 as a security deposit for just a 4-night stay in Detroit, and I tried over and over to contact them through VRBO but no luck. It's been two days now since I left, and my deposit still hasn't been returned. The fact that the owner isn't responding and can't be reached through the website has me feeling really upset and let down. I definitely won't be using this platform again.

    Vacation rental experience

    My experience with my vacation rental was a total disaster. I booked a place through VRBO, paid for it, and when I got there, it was a total mess from the previous guests. It looked like there was a crazy party that happened there with stuff everywhere. The mattress was gross with yellow stains, the floors were all dusty, and it just wasn't clean at all. I contacted the host right away, and they said they would fix it, but it didn't get much better. When I asked for a refund because it was so dirty, VRBO only gave me a small amount back, which wasn't fair at all. Their customer service was a nightmare to deal with, and their excuse of not checking properties was just not right. The way they handled everything was awful, and it left me really unhappy. I won't be using VRBO again after this experience.
