Huge fan store for geeks and pop cult nerds
I always look for online stores like FYE. They have such a plethora of variety of items and clothes related to pop-cult characters and stuff.
I have bought quite a lot from here.. they deliver on time. They also have like various games, TV shows, music, movies, and various stuff to buy.
They have vivid variety of latest games and music released. So I get some games every month from here.
Also bought some movies as well over past few months.. mostly 4K/ UHD and Bluray DVD.
They have all sort of books, gifts, gaming acessories, toys and various houseware products to go for..Vinyl record purchase
I'm a huge music fan, and I just bought a vinyl record from this store. They had a great selection with lots of different genres and artists to pick from. The staff there really knew their stuff and were super helpful in helping me find what I wanted. Checking out was easy and quick, so my shopping experience was really enjoyable. I totally suggest this store to any music lover wanting to add to their collection.
Sold used CDs
I recently sold a bunch of my old CDs to this one place, and I gotta say, they ended up giving me more money than other websites would have. However, there was a little hiccup. They initially said they'd cover my shipping costs, but in reality, they only covered a portion of it. So, just a heads up, take that into consideration before deciding to sell your items there.
Cool stuff
I got some awesome stuff from this place and I was super happy because it came just like I expected and right on time. Thanks so much!
CD purchase
I just bought a CD from this store and man, the customer service was terrible. The staff was so rude, didn't know what they were doing, and just didn't have any respect. They were totally lacking in basic people skills and professionalism, which made the whole shopping trip really awful. I definitely wouldn't suggest this store to anyone after what happened to me.
Incorrect Action Figures
I recently bought 2 different action figures, but I ended up getting 2 of the same one. So, I contacted the company to fix the mix-up, and I was surprised by how much they wanted me to do to make it right. They basically wanted me to handle everything - printing labels, repackaging the wrong figure, going to the post office, paying for return shipping, and then waiting forever for the right figure to finally come. And all of this hassle was for an item that was under $20. It's just crazy that I, as the customer, had to jump through all these hoops just because they made a mistake.
Membership program scam
They totally fooled me into joining their membership without telling me about the monthly fees. When I tried to contact customer service for assistance, they just ignored me or rudely hung up. It's obvious they are running a shady business and couldn't care less about their customers. I wouldn't suggest anyone to deal with them at all. They're basically robbing people blind, and I really hope they get what's coming to them soon.
Recent music purchases
I recently bought a bunch of music stuff from FYE - you know, CDs and records. But man, let me tell you, it was a total letdown. I didn't get everything I ordered, and their customer service was just bad all around. I gotta admit, I messed up by ordering on my old phone, but that's no excuse for FYE dropping the ball on keeping me in the loop. I got invoices for stuff that never got sent, and on top of that, they sent me a "Mary Poppins" DVD instead of the vinyl I ordered! When I tried reaching out for help, the customer service person was a total jerk, scolded me for calling the wrong number, and then straight up hung up on me when I tried to explain. This whole experience has left me super frustrated and let down by FYE.
Backstage Pass program
My experience with FYE was really disappointing. The person who helped us with our purchase just signed us up for the Backstage Pass program without explaining the $11.99 monthly fee. I think that kind of sneaky behavior is really wrong and feels like stealing. Not getting a bill and only finding out about the charges from our bank was totally unprofessional. Plus, the fact that FYE didn't communicate well about the program and fees is worrisome. I had to get my money back through the Better Business Bureau, which was super frustrating and took a lot of time. Overall, I wouldn't recommend FYE to anyone because of their sneaky tactics and lack of transparency.
Vinyl record
I bought a vinyl record from this company, but I never got my order. I contacted customer service right after I placed my order, but they wouldn't cancel it for me. It's been more than a week now and I still haven't received what I paid for. Also, the total cost they show you at checkout isn't the actual final cost - they sneakily tack on taxes after you've already placed your order. Just a heads up, this company is shady and not to be trusted.
Backstage Pass Subscription
I've been coming to this store for a while now, and I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed out about how things are going with their video and music section. It used to be the spot to find all the new stuff and old classics, but now it's just a bunch of random gadgets and knick-knacks targeting a specific group of people. The video selection is seriously lacking these days, missing that variety and depth it used to have. I was also not happy with their return policy, which just added to my disappointment with the whole store.
Backstage pass membership
I signed up for the backstage pass membership, but I soon figured out it wasn't worth the $12 a month. I tried to cancel, but they kept charging me every month. I reached out to customer service, but they wouldn't give me a refund. Don't make the same mistake I did and waste your money or get scammed!
CD purchase
I went to the store to buy a CD and let me tell you, it was the worst. The employees were so lazy, they didn't even bother checking in the back for the CD I wanted. On top of that, the whole store smelled like someone was smoking weed - so nasty! They seriously need to get some air fresheners in there ASAP.
FYE Backstage Pass
I had a really terrible experience with FYE when I tried to cancel my Backstage Pass. I talked to a lady named "Joan" and she gave me a cancellation confirmation code. But even with that, FYE kept charging my credit card. When I called back with the code, they said they couldn't find it and wouldn't give me my money back. It's pretty obvious that FYE doesn't stick to their cancellation rules and will even lie to customers just to keep their money. My advice is to always record your conversations with customer service when you're canceling subscriptions, so you have proof to dispute charges with your credit card company if you need to. Stay away from the FYE Backstage Pass no matter what.
Vinyl record purchase
As a customer at FYE, I gotta say I was really bummed out by how they treated disabled veterans. So, I was at the Port Charlotte mall FYE store recently and this guy named Steve kicked me out. I'm a disabled US Navy Veteran with breathing problems and I tried to explain that to him, but he just wouldn't listen. It felt like he was bullying me and it was really disrespectful. This whole situation just shows how FYE treats people who have put their lives on the line to protect our country. And to make it worse, I got an email from FYE's corporate office that just confirmed they don't really care about disabled veterans.
