once I did get authorization the next day they actually approved the main repairs I needed, so in the end my car got fixed and I’m honestly relieved. The annoying part was coordinating the mechanic (long waits, one appointment that didn’t happen), and a couple parts weren’t covered which I didn’t expect. Overall it worked out, but it took more back-and-forth than I thought it would. I’m glad it wasn’t a Friday night in the boonies, though.
Midway skeptical, ended up okay
someone actually rechecked the contract, clarified what was covered, and then arranged parts delivery. Delivery itself was slow to start (there were a few days of waiting and a couple of mixed messages), but the parts arrived and the shop finished the work. So yeah, it was a messy start and I stayed skeptical, but the service team did enough to resolve it. Not perfect, but useful if you pay attention and follow up.
Lunch-break surprise turned okay
bumper-to-bumper, roadside help, rental car, even hotel if I was stranded out of town, all with a $100 deductible. He even knocked my monthly down with an “employee” discount, which made the whole thing seem like a decent deal, so I went ahead and paid. Felt good at first, like I’d solved a problem.
Warranty shuffle, but relieved it didn’t end worse
the contract wording should protect you, and the repair shop’s documentation matters. If you buy this, keep records, get everything in writing when you can, and be ready to push a bit. I’m thankful it didn’t turn into a full fight, but their handling could be clearer and more professional.
