Bottom line — we had to scramble and buy new cups days before the wedding because the original order never showed up. We ordered 1,000 compostable cups for an outdoor backyard ceremony and instead got a tiny shipment of 12 glass cleaner bottles. Yeah, twelve. We emailed right away, got a note that they'd "launch an investigation," and then radio silence. Two days passed, then a week, and our big day was ten days out. We couldn't risk waiting, so we paid local prices (and non-compostable cups) to avoid disaster. I get mistakes happen — I've had good experiences with other vendors who fixed stuff fast — but the lack of follow-through here was frustrating. After the event we asked for a refund; we were promised a replacement last week that never shipped, and then, somehow, another box of 12 glass cleaner bottles arrived. Not ideal, not handled well, though the cups we bought saved the day. Wouldn't trust this company for time-sensitive orders.
Unexpectedly solid delivery
everything arrived cold, neatly packed and with the right counts and sizes. One thing that really stood out was the packaging — it kept temps low and the labels/expiration dates were clear, which matters when you're ordering food. The support was patient and practical, gave a couple of useful tips for future orders, and didn’t sound scripted. Small gripe: delivery took a few days longer than I hoped, but that was the only hiccup. Overall moved from skeptical to satisfied — feels reliable enough that I’ll use them again for bulk food buys.
Not what I expected, but eventually ok
I first heard about these from a coworker who swore by the frozen fish section, so I gave it a shot. At first I was pretty skeptical. The breaded cod fillet arrived and I knew right away something was off. The inside was this gray-brown color and the texture was almost gummy — not flaky at all. It had an unpleasant smell that clung to my fingers even after washing. I tried to tell myself maybe it was the coating or my cooking, but the moment I fried it and the smell hit the kitchen, I lost my appetite. Same story with the catfish — looked ok in the box but the smell was there again, and it made my stomach queasy. I complained and they gave me a store credit, which I appreciated. I used that credit to order the crab and shrimp egg rolls, hoping for a clean slate. This time things were better. The replacement batch didn’t have that off-putting odor, the crab wasn’t brown, and the shrimp tasted normal — nothing fancy, but honest. The big moment I knew I was satisfied was when I tried the egg rolls with friends; everyone nodded, no weird faces, and one even said “not bad” — simple, but it was a relief. So yeah, rough start and a mild hassle, but the customer support fixed it and the second go was passable. I’d be cautious, but I’d try them again if the price was right and I could inspect the packaging first.
Not worth the “premium” tag
Honestly, I’d skip the premium delivery option — that’s my short take. I ordered glassware and paid extra for a specific delivery date, expecting it to show up like they said. The date came and went with no notice, so I called. Turns out it’s a dropship setup and they said they couldn’t stop it or control timing. I asked them to cancel because I couldn’t wait, but they couldn’t or wouldn’t. Five days later they finally replied and only offered a partial refund of the delivery fee. I’m in the process of returning the glassware now, hoping for a full refund. I should add I bought from them before Christmas too, and back then the delivery was over a week late — they refunded the delivery fee after I complained, but still. Feels like the website promises delivery dates they don’t actually manage, and support talks like there’s a lot of red tape — hard to get straight answers. Used them a couple times, so yeah, pattern. If they want me back they need a real fix to how they handle deliveries and clearer communication. For now I’ll probably look for another supplier who actually controls shipping.
Hard-to-find stuff, dependable delivery
I got called away last minute for a trip to California and couldn’t accept the drop-off. Customer service stepped in, was calm and flexible, and sorted a new plan that worked for me — that kind of follow-through matters when you’ve got a kitchen to run. Packaging is solid, brands come as expected, and special-order pasta options are a nice touch. Pricing is pretty average; you don’t get crazy bargains unless you buy big quantities, and free shipping over $750 is useful if you can hit it. So yeah, I’ll shop here again for specific items and when I need reliable delivery. Slight repetition: selection and quality are the reasons I keep coming back, plus the people on the other end of the line actually help when things go sideways.
