Coffee press travel mug
So I recently got this travel mug that doubles as a coffee press, and I have to say, it's been pretty great. The customer service was fast and the staff was super friendly. The mug itself does an awesome job of keeping my coffee hot for a long time, making it perfect for on-the-go situations. But there are a couple of things that bother me. First off, the mug is too wide to fit in my car's cupholder, which is a bit of a pain. And when I press down on the coffee press, there's always this bit of liquid that just won't go through the mesh, leaving like an inch of coffee at the bottom. It's a little frustrating, to be honest. I'm not sure why it won't all go through, but it's like a little pond of coffee down there. Despite these issues, I still really enjoy using this mug, even though sometimes I think it might be easier to just brew the coffee in a regular cup and transfer it over.
Bistro Knife Block replacement
I was really excited to get some new Bistro knife blocks to replace our old ones. Ordering was super easy after I set up an account, and the blocks came pretty quickly. They look amazing, but I was bummed to see that the plastic rods aren't as tightly packed as our old block. Some of the knives just slip in too easily. And to make things even worse, the bottom plate came loose from the side on one of the blocks. Does anyone have a recommendation for a strong glue to fix it up good as new? Seems like the quality control from the new manufacturer in Portugal isn't quite up to par with the old Swiss-made blocks. Still, I do like how shiny and easy to clean the new blocks are. Anyone got any suggestions for glue? Maybe some good ol' epoxy?
Compact burr grinder
This burr grinder is seriously amazing. I did a bunch of research and ended up choosing this one, and I gotta say, it was a great decision. I used to use an electric grinder, but dang, the taste difference with a burr grinder is no joke. This little guy is easy to use and super fast, making it a must for any coffee fanatic. Plus, it's got a bunch of grinding options so I can make my coffee just how I want it. It's totally upped the flavor of my coffee, so I would definitely suggest it to anyone who loves freshly ground beans.
Glass mugs purchase
The buying process was easy, and I bought 3 pairs of glass mugs. But when I opened them up, I saw that one was broken in the box. It looked like they didn't have enough protection in there, and the shipping company was a bit rough with them. I told the company about it with some pictures, and they quickly sent me another pair to make up for the broken one. Despite this little issue, I'm really happy with the mugs - they're even better than I thought they'd be.
Replacement filter screens for French press
I recently ordered some replacement filter screens for my French press coffee maker and had a fantastic experience. It was super easy to find what I needed on the website, and ordering was a breeze. The package showed up quickly and now my French press is all set to brew up some tasty coffee for a long time to come.
Travel mug
I love this mug, it really keeps my drink nice and hot for a long time. The only downside was that there weren't many color choices, so I only ended up getting one. Also, it was a bit tricky to find on the website - I had to search in the coffee section instead of the travel mugs.
Coffee grinder upgrade
I just got this new coffee grinder, and let me tell you, it's amazing! It's seriously powerful and grinds those coffee beans just right every single time. I pair it with my French press, and the grounds come out perfectly even. My last grinder was a dud from a different brand and ended up breaking on me, but this one feels like it's built to last a lifetime.
Friend's old coffee maker
My friend used to only drink instant coffee, but she let me try out her late husband's old coffee maker and I absolutely loved it! I ended up getting my own Bodum because it was so simple to use and made really delicious coffee.

Coffee maker and tea kettle
Not at all what I was expecting for quality. It has been a while since I owned Bodum but when it came time for a new coffee maker Bodum was my 1st choice. After receiving the product. I am disappointed. It is so cheaply made. ALL PLASTIC. Customer service is not helpful. The responses seem like you are conversing with a robot. Returning will cost me more in shipping and restocking fees then my refund would be.
Bodum Bistro Coffee Grinder
Received a coffee grinder as a xmas gift. Decided to use it for the 1st time on Dec. 27th. Very slow at grinding the beans then motor started cutting out. Machine broke after 1st use. I cannot reach their customer service as their numbers are non existent. Tried to send them an email a week ago to start the return process and I am still waiting to hear back. They offer a 30 day return for any "unused" items. By the time I hear back (if I hear back) the 30 days will have expired. Return shipping charges and a 10% restocking fee are on the customer. They say they offer a one year warranty. What does that even mean when the item has to be in unused condition for a refund or replacement? Very unhappy with this product and with this company. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for quality kitchen products or professional customer service.
