Car rental disaster
I had the worst time with my car rental! I paid for insurance in advance, but when I got to the counter to get my car, they wanted an extra 1,400 euros! It was a total surprise and I had to go through the trouble of finding another rental company. My bank person said that this company pulls this on folks all the time, and their contracts have all sorts of tricky fine print. Now I have to deal with the Ombudsman to try and get my money back. Avoid this company like the plague!

I just booked some tickets for me and my mom to go to India through this agent, Kyle Roberts. He was really nice and patient while helping me with the online payment. He explained everything really well and got us a good deal on the tickets. Even though I've booked with travelup a lot before, this was one of the best experiences I've had with them.

Crib purchase for grandchild
I just bought a crib for my grandbaby and it turned out to be a pretty good experience. The delivery guys even set up the crib for us, which was a nice touch. But when I went to check it out, I realized the sides were on backwards. I reached out to customer service, and they quickly fixed the problem by sending a crew back to flip it around. They even did something extra special for the family to make up for the mix-up. All in all, I was really impressed with how well the company handled everything.

10 piece set purchase
I bought a 10-piece set from this company, and after just 6 months, two of the pans started to warp. And I gotta tell ya, I never cooked with super high heat or anything, so it was a surprise to see them get messed up. When I reached out to customer support and they asked for a picture, I thought they'd replace the pans no problem. But nope, I got denied without even knowing why. The lack of help and info from the company really turned me off, so I won't be buying from them again.
