When the FedEx driver left that big box in my garage I just stood there for a minute, half expecting a mess. I’d been circling this purchase with a lot of doubt — read some alarming stuff on Trustpilot and ScamAdvisors and even thought about calling my bank. Then the shipping emails started rolling in, which I also suspected was a stalling tactic. Anyway, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and the chair actually showed up the next day. Assembly took a little patience; the base wasn’t pre-attached like other office chairs I’ve had, so that bugged me a bit and I kept checking screws because of all the missing-parts horror stories I’d read. But once together, the massage feature is the real deal — great for mid-afternoon slumps while I work from home, and it’s the one thing that turned my skepticism into relief. I use it every day between Zoom calls and dinner prep, and it’s made a noticeable difference in my lower back. Shipping was faster than expected and free, which helped my mood too. Not perfect, but honestly I’m glad I took the chance.
Warped top, ignored by support
In short, I won’t buy from this seller again — too many headaches, no real help. I first spotted the cart on a deal site and bought it because a neighbor had one and said it was handy. Right away the top was badly warped at both ends; one side arches up nearly half an inch and the other side about a quarter inch, worse toward the front. Because it bowed so sharply, the little tabs that secure the top to the base actually snapped into fragments — literally bits of plastic. I emailed customer support and we went back and forth several times. They asked for photos; we sent them. Then they wanted us to circle the damaged areas and mark the top in the instruction guide — done. After all that, their “solution” was to send a replacement cart if I paid an extra $150, which would push my outlay to roughly $470 for something that should cost $320. No thanks. I told them I wanted a full refund and then... silence. I’ve followed up multiple times and got nothing. So I’m left disputing the charge through my bank and reporting the case to the BBB, and I’ll post this on other review sites so others see it. It’s frustrating — felt hopeful at first, now just annoyed. I gave them two weeks to respond and after that I started the bank dispute and filed a BBB complaint and posted reviews. I kept copies of all emails and about a dozen photos in case anyone asks.
Table drama and the refund relief
a US address, a phone number that doesn’t work, and a line about a 15% restocking fee — a fee that wasn’t even mentioned on their site when I ordered. They then suggested I resell the table or “keep it and we’ll give you an extra refund” — which is basically, keep the thing and we’ll maybe throw you some money if you’re lazy. At some point I called the number, got someone who had no clue what the company was, and started suspecting everything was funneled from elsewhere. I finally disputed the charge with my bank — that’s the moment I actually relaxed. When the bank credited me back, I felt this weird mix of relief and annoyance, like, glad it’s over, but man what a waste of time. Small victory, honestly. If a friend asks where I saw it, I’ll say my buddy sent the link, but I’ll also warn them: check the return rules, and don’t expect much help from customer service. Lesson learned — pretty table, messy process, happy ending only because the bank stepped in.
