I love reading and when I wanted to find a new book to read, I went online to check out some bookstores. I found this website when I was looking for a specific book. The process of ordering was easy and didn't give me any trouble, but what bummed me out was that I couldn't buy the book in the format I wanted - like in hardcover or paperback.
Online book purchase
I recently bought a book online, and it was a really easy and quick process. Although I didn't get an email with tracking information, I liked that I got a text with the shipping number. That way, I could kind of keep an eye on where my order was. The book showed up when I expected it to, and that made me happy as a customer.
Rental option for needed book
I finally found a place to rent the book my daughter needed. It came in the mail way earlier than the other company promised. Awesome! It's great to have the option of renting instead of buying books, especially when they're just needed for a class once.
Physical book and digital formats
I really love how I can order physical books and digital formats from this place so easily. It's super convenient and hassle-free. And if you ever need to return something, the process is a breeze. I highly recommend giving their digital formats a try if you haven't already!
Rental textbook return
I just turned in a rental textbook and it didn't go well. I thought I returned it in great shape, but the company said there was water damage and made me pay full price for the book. On top of that, they wanted an extra $12 to ship it back to me. I don't think that extra charge was fair at all. Next time, I'll steer clear of this company and stick to buying textbooks from places I trust more, like Amazon.
Textbook delivery
I paid extra for faster shipping to make sure I got my textbook on time, but it ended up coming a day later than I thought. It might not seem like a big deal, but I really wish they had let me know ahead of time so I could have planned accordingly.
Late shipment resulted in dropping course for Block 1
Because the textbook showed up late, I had no choice but to bail on the class for Block 1 this semester. It wasn't just a pain, it cost me extra dough as I had to get another textbook for Block 2. Now I won't be able to give back the rental on time, and that's a bummer. I was really hoping for things to be smooth and on schedule, but instead, it's been a big headache.
Lost rental book experience
My experience with eCampus was a real rollercoaster, let me tell you. When my rental book got delivered to the wrong person at first, I was really stressed out. But the eCampus customer service team stepped up and helped me out right away. They filed a report with USPS and got me in touch with the delivery driver who made the mistake. Even though the delivery driver couldn't fix it right away, he surprised me by showing up at my door an hour later with the book. I was so grateful for his hard work and dedication to making things right. I made sure to let eCampus know about his actions and thanked them for being so understanding and supportive through it all.
Saved money on textbooks
I used some coupon codes, which helped me earn points towards gift cards for future purchases. The prices were actually cheaper than what I saw at the school store or their website. On top of that, I also got cash back through Rakuten. All in all, I saved a ton of money shopping here!
Online purchase of textbooks
Buying textbooks online was so simple. I just wish I could download them as PDFs for Google workspace. When I tried to buy physical copies of used textbooks, it was a bit of a hassle because they were out of stock, but the option to buy them was still there. I did get refunds, but it made the whole process a little annoying.
Book order
I was pumped to get my book order from eCampus since I needed them for my classes that are starting soon. Most of the books came on time and in good shape, which was awesome. But, one of the books was on back order, which was a bummer. It's frustrating since the semester already started. I'm hoping they can fix this quickly and get the book to me ASAP.
Textbook purchase
I bought a textbook that turned out to be just like how it was described, and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I was happy that the person I bought it from shipped it out within 2 days. But, keeping track of my order was kind of a letdown. Even though I got a tracking number, I never got any more updates after the first notification that it was sent out. I had no clue if UPS even got the package, where it was, or when it might show up. When I tried to get help from the customer service, they just sent me back to the seller, which didn't really solve anything. I've had my stuff get lost by UPS before, so not being able to see what's going on makes me nervous about using this company for shipping. It would be nice if they had other options for shipping to make customers feel better.
Renting textbooks
Ordering was super easy, and my stuff came right on time. I'm just renting my book for now and I'll give it back after the semester, so can't say anything about that part yet. But eCampus has been awesome overall.
New textbooks, great conditions
I really enjoy getting my textbooks from this website because every time I order one, it comes brand new! They always arrive in excellent condition and I even have the choice to purchase them if I decide to keep them. It's great because I can use them for future studies whenever I need to.
Loose leaf lab manual purchase
I've bought things online before from different places like eCampus.com and usually had good experiences. But my most recent purchase of a loose leaf lab manual was a letdown. I knew it would be loose leaf, but when it arrived, the pages were all mixed up - some were even upside down, out of order, and missing. When I reached out to customer service, the first response didn't really help much. They just said it's "loose leaf" and promised to maybe send a replacement. The fact that there wasn't a quick and satisfying solution to the problem has left me feeling disappointed with both the product and how customer service handled it.
Rental book purchase
I rented a book online not too long ago, and man, it was a bummer. When I returned it, they hit me with a $200 charge for supposed damages even though I know I sent it back in decent shape. They said the spine was ripped, but I'm sure that wasn't true. The customer service was no help at all and didn't do much to fix things.
Textbook purchase, good condition
I just bought a textbook from this website and it came in really good shape. The pages weren't ripped or torn, and it showed up right on schedule like they said it would. Everything went smoothly, and I was happy with the service I got. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely suggest this website to other people.
Book about Benjamin Franklin
I picked up this book about Ben Franklin and it was in great shape! It looked like it had never been used and I got it for a really good price. It was sent to me from a store over in Seattle called Goodwill.
Textbook purchase, SUNY-Albany student
I'm currently a full-time student at SUNY-Albany, and I recently bought a textbook from an online retailer. The whole process was pretty easy and the book arrived on time, which was great. The only downside was finding out that I couldn't keep the book after the semester ended. Since I'm retired and on a fixed income, I was really hoping for a more affordable option to own the book for good. Even though the book was in really good shape, the fact that it had already been used by other students made the price too steep for me.
